Johnny, he says his name is, and he's from shipping and wants to arrange to deliver our package.  He does not give the name of this company.  He calls 2-3 x week for the last 2-3 months.  While we just hang up he keeps calling.  It's as though he wants us to call this number back.  Why?

The recorded caller said that he was "John" from the shipping department, and that a medical alert system already paid for was awaiting our authorization to be delivered.

We received a call from this number at 10:27 am on May 31, 2013. A message was left about a "senior medical advisory". The caller ID said "unknown name". When I tried calling back I got a recording: "Call cannot be completed as dialed. Please call your operator for assistance." This is obviously not a legitimate company and perhaps a scam preying on the elderly.

Stupid scammer wanting a credit card number for a product that was never ordered. Complaint filed.

Sick and tired of getting all of these harassing calls.  This call said they were ready to ship.  When I heard that I knew i did not order anything and just put a block on this call as i done to many of these calls.

I keep getting messages that a family  members has paid for a medical alert. This is not true! I've aske them to stop calling.

Received a call from someone calling themselves John who said someone had ordered an emergency medical alert system. Said it was ready to ship. Would not give the company name or who supposedly ordered the system. Just kept talking. Obviously a scam.

Keep receiving this call from 662-259-8470 re medic alert equipment ordered for me, and is ready to ship. I tried to ask the person to send me mail regarding this, but of course it was a recording!! SO now I just hang up or do not answer. How can we stop this?

I regularly report these gd calls to the Do Not Call Registry Complaint line.  It does no good but I feel better sounding off several times a day.  If everyone reported these calls and clogged up the report site maybe someone would do something.  I wish someone would start a campaign to pick a day and report every call.

Repeated calls regarding installation of medical alert equipment. This is not from a legit company in my opinion.  We did not order any medical equip.  Would NOT allow anyone into our home anyway!  Why can't these people be stopped? I would think it would hamper folks from ordering medical alert equipment.  The last call was almost 9 p.m. last night.  I told the caller not to call, but I bet in the next few days we will get another call. Will try to report this to authorities.  L.B.

Call at 4:30 pm, EDT message left on ans machine about prepaid medical system. Just press such and such to confirm or such and such to "delist" Did not acknowledge anything this male caller said in his message.

I am tired of these repeated robo calls saying my medical alert system is ready to be shipped.
"the system is already paid for and shipping is already paid for" said today's call.
Usually I hang up before they get that far.

Obviously a scam to prey on seniors.  How do we stop these guys?

How can we stop our own gov't. plays the phone game also,why is it OK for political robo calls ? and even more unwanted calls - who pays the phone bills and we can not controle what comes into our phone.

Have previously posted getting multiple calls from multiple Mississippi-based numbers for multiple months - most, apparently spoofed numbers to hide true identity.  Unfortunately for anyone in Miss., my best option now is to simply block all calls that appear to originate from that state.  There are simply too few technological filtering solutions and too many incoming calls to screen each one (and everyone knows the do-not-call registry is a joke when it comes to this kind of bottom-feeder).  Anyone with ties to Miss. - based business/trade organizations ought to take notice - these people may harm your economy by reputation, making Miss. - based numbers the phone equivalent of Nigerian spam.

Got a call from this number...662 is central-north MS....had unknown caller on the ID....answered ready to give them fits, but no one was on the line...called back and got the busy signal.

We called back and number is invalid so this is a fake ID number and undoubtedly telemarketing.
