Spoofed caller ID; this is NOT a working number. Telemarketer selling Emergency Alert System. Bad people; do not deal with these people.

Unwanted call

Call received at 10:30am, but no one seemed to be on the other end. Call disengaged after about 15 seconds.

got this call  8.30 pm did not say anything , has called 2 times .

Do you have to have caller block from your phone company to use the phones that block?

I too have the Panasonic phone set.  It is so good to be able to monitor these jerks before I pick up the handset and then to be able to block them out completely.  If the government won't protect us then we must do it ourselves.

We got a call from this number yesterday, 27 Dec 2013, at 5:06 pm. We have gotten so many such calls from different numbers in area code 662 that all calls from it are now blocked with our call blocker. Buying such a device is well worth the cost.

I just got a call which I will add to my block list.  I will now get no ring but will get a list of blocked calls on my phone.
I have the Panasonic cordless telephone  Model kx-tg6842b (2 handsets)
You can block 250 numbers plus kill the one ring that existed on earlier models that only allowed 30 blocked numbers.  If other phone models are connected you will still get the first ring on them.
The one handset model sells for $70 at Amazon.

They keep calling over and over despite requests to stop.  Shame on you MS.  This is an embarrassment to you!

These scammers call relentlessly - using multiple numbers for the emergency alert system.  How do we make them stop?

These scammers keep calling eventhough I asked him to stop.

These clowns call me constantly.  Most often if I answer, there is no other person on the other end.
Once I did connect with someone who identified herself as a "diabetic specialist."  I told her that I was sorry that she was diabetic and did not care to know about her specialty.  I also instructed her not to call me again.  No luck.  I would like more info. in order to make a FCC complaint.

Very evil scam.  They called and said they were from The Emergancy Alert System for Seniors as advertized on TV and that one of my loved ones (name not on paperwork) has ordered this for me for Christmas.  They need to set up an appointment when I'll be home to get in here and set it up.  Sorry.  I'm not nearly as feeble as has been reported.
It's scary because how many seniors will actually fall for this and let them in to be robbed, raped, mutilated, spindled & swindled!

Another spooffed number from same telemarketer that has been bugging me for over 2 years - I will no longer pick up any call from Mississippi thanks to these guys - note to state regulators, you might want to consider how badly these scammers are harming your image...
