get calls every day and every night. At first I answered and no answer. Got tired of it. I went to ZEDGE app and added a ringtone to their #, so now I don't even look at my phone when they call. I have a Smart Talk Samsung mobile phone and wish I knew how to block that #

THEY CALLED YESTERDAY. THIS GIRL REPEATED SHE HAD AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE DONT HANG UP, OVER AND OVER LIKE SHE WAS A RECORDED MESSAGE, THEN ANOTHER ANSWERED HELLO, WHEN I ANSWERED SHE HUNG UP. N0W THEY HAVE MY NUMBER AND CALLING OVER AND OVER , I JUST DON'T ANSWER,THANK GOODNESS FOR CALLER Id. I DON;T OWE A BILL, SO NO WORRIES THERE.

Hey - shivermetimbers ! What the hell are you doing on here?? Did you get a call too ? You  judgemental prick.  Post again when you have a reality check. You have NO damn idea what goes on people's lives.

It's a legitimate collection agency.If you people would pay your damn bills, you wouldn't be bothered with calls like these. They also collect for Huntsville Hospital here in Alabama. Get your facts straight us bunch of dead beats. Quit running to the ER expecting free medical care.

Receiving calls daily from 662-690-2284 & 2283.  I do not answer the calls and no message is left.  Research done by others on this blog has confirmed that this is a debt collection agency in Tupelo, Mississippi that goes by the name Franklin Collection Agency and belongs to Dan Franklin.  See page 1 of this blog for more information.  I have no debts so i am sure they have no reason to be calling me.  My phone number is on the "do not call registry" so i have gone to the government website and filed a complaint against both numbers.  Hopefully more of you will do the same thing.  God bless us all!

I've been recieving calls from this number the last couple of days, I have not yet answered it because it is an unfamiliar number.

I am just got a call from 662-690-2284 and I know my number is on the donot registry. If you keep harassing me I am going file all kind of compliants.

Franklin Debt Collectors, have not heard from them in a while because I know what they want and I put them on my caller reject list in my phone, but eventually they drop off numbers and add new phone numbers to their crappy business to be able to harass you again. I do not answer any Unknown or Blocked calls or calls that I just do not recognize the numbers.   When my phone rejection portal is full I just delete the oldest numbers and start adding new rejection calls. Whatever you do not talk to them they will not take NO for an answer and even if you convince them you are unemployed and owe student loans et cetera, even if they act nice they are only going to give you so many months to get employed again.  If you want to have fun with them get tanked and talk to them and curse at them in the most foul language you have ever heard then you can make them feel bad, instead of them ruining your day you get to piss them off and ruin Franklin Ashholes.

Got a call but it was prerecorded. I do not talk to machines and will not call anyone back that uses a machine. Machines are supposed to be illegal if it is debt collection because of privacy laws.

I'm sure it's all the same place because no one ever leaves a message. I decided to call back one of the numbers (the 3072 number), just to see what was going on. It turned out that a bill I do in fact owe was sent to the wrong address for months, so I never knew I owed it (medical bill, and I have insurance, so I assumed that it was paid since I never got a bill).

Information they asked for (and which I wish I hadn't given them!):

My correct home address
Confirmed my name and phone number
My place of employment
With whom I bank

I called the company I owed and will pay my bill. When I called the collector back (as instructed, on a work day "before 5:00 p.m. that day"), I didn't get the woman I'd originally talked to, even though I called back the number she'd called from (3072). She had given me her name (Kayla Holland) and extension (1739), but I was never prompted for an extension. The woman who did answer (didn't catch her name) said she could take care of it, made sure to tell me that since it was a debt collection call, the call was being recorded. After telling her that I'd called the company I owed money to and would be paying them directly, she "added a note to the system." She also asked when I would be paying the company, though I can't imagine how that matters. Probably 20 minutes after I spoke to her, I got a call from 662-690-2284 and Googled it. Glad to see they're a sketchy group. :/

They call about once a week and ask for Larry, I tell them they have the wrong number. Getting tired of it, wonder if I can sue them for harassment?

you can block numbers in your cell phone, no need to call the company.

when you see that number in your "calls" list, just hit "options" and then "block number"  they may still be able to leave you a voice mail, but your phone won't ring when they call you.

it's pretty much the same on any phone.

Auto Call

Automated call (what collection service has a real person talking noadays?) asking for someone that I don't even know on my cell phone. And wasting my minutes.

Go mess with someone else!

I keep getting calls on my business line (256/772-8334) about someone named Olga. (I've also had a call for someone else.)   They say, "Press #2 if this is not Olga," and I do.  But these calls have been going on for weeks.  They even call during the evening hours.  I don't answer the calls anymore.  But I want them stopped!
