Received call on 05-21-2009 stating my account had what appears to be third party activity and has been deactivated. The call requested I put my credit card number in. The call was very static.  when you call the number back it is disconnected

I received a call this morning, I told my husband to hang up, that it sounded weird but of course he didn't.... Men!!! Anyway, they told him something about the account blah blah blah and to press 1 to speak to the security department, then it hung up.

Received this call twice on my cell phone this morning so far.  Will be reporting it to Verizon.

I received a call from 662-993-8601 at 4:55am on 6-1-09. It told me that my account had been deactivated and to press 1..press 2...to hear more information. I hung up and then tried to call the number back and it said that this number had been disconnected. (I know that this number can't be disconnected if it is activly calling people.)

I received two calls in the same evening (11:14 PM and 11:57 PM) from the same phone number, 1-662-993-8601.  Both of the automated messages were identical and said something about that my union ATM account being compromised, with instructions to "press 1".  I hung up on the automated system each time.  When I tried to call the phone number back it says "you are calling a number that is disconnected or no longer in service".

I also received a call at 9:30 pm from this same number telling me my checking account had been accessed by a third party and I needed to push 1 to talk to someone that could help me.  I knew it was a scam, but I pushed 1 just because I REALLY wanted to talk to someone, but when I pushed 1, it told me to enter my account number to verify things.  Of course I didn't.  I then tried calling the number right back and it said that number was out of service.

I just recieved the same phone call to our home phone number.  The phone number that called me is 662-993-8601 and is a MS area code.  Surely there is a way to track these thieves down and prosecute them for fraud.

I have received 2 phone calls from this company and they say that they are F&M Bank and that my card has been accessed by a third party and I need to give my credit card number to reactivate it. The first time they called it came up as a restricted number and they called again at 3:37 this morning and this phone number came up. I got on here first thing when I got up and found this site and have since put a block on that number through my cell phone company. We also are in the Clarksville/Fort Campbell area.

I live in the Clarksville, TN/Fort Campbell, KY area and I recieved a call on my cell phone in from this number.  The caller said that they were United Bank and Trust and they have suspended my ATM account.  Then it went on to say press 1 to reactivate it.  The calls was made at 0526 in the morning.  The reverse number look-up says the call came from a land line in Ripley, MS.  This must be a hoax because I am not a member of the United Bank and Trust and they definately don't call outside of "bankers hours".  Recommend you hang-up and ignore the call.

I have gotten the message and the hang up calls.  NEVER in appropriate times.  many times between 9pm and 9am.  Clarksville, TN here too!

Said was from a bank that I have nothing to do with maybe MSN or F&M. Said credit card had third party activity wanted me to enter my 16 digit number i enter 16 random numbers 3 or 4 times trying to get someone to yell at its 3 am tried to call back said was diconnected

WTF they call at fukcing 3 am in the morning....and said my account was accessed by third party....i swear someone needs to find out who the hell to blame for this cuz ill fukcing beat the hell out of them myselfe...thanx insomnia

it was a voice recording saying my credit card had been stolen and deactivated and i was suppose to enter my credit number to reactivate it.

this is a scam. If you hear F&M Bank (or any other bank) just hang up.  Clarksville, TN's police dept has verified its a fraud call.
