I received a call from this phone number, 664-412-0044, today (1/13/2014) on my personal cellphone, at 5:49am MST.  My cellphone only rang once, and no message was left.  Something fishy is definitely going on, and I think the telcom/wireless providers should look into it, to see if these calls are actually coming from that area code, or if the area code is being "forged" somehow (not sure if that's even possible).

I found this forum website after searching for area code 664 on Google.

all my cells are on the do not call list and over the past month plus just now i got a call from this number, 1 ring , thats  all. my familys cells have getting grenada phone calls over the past month , obivously they didn't learn from the invasion ....

Called me on my cell at 2:15 a.m. Pacific time.

Called me at 4 am, woke me and the wife up with two ring call. Did not answer, did not call back.

I got a call from this number at 4:16 am ... ridiculous.

This is a scam originating from Grenada (area code 473), Dominica (area code 767), Jamaica (area code 876), Montserrat (area code 664), and probably several other Caribbean islands.

No I am a Sprint customer and TWO mornings in a row I have recieved these calls around 1am

This # has called my cell phone two mornings in a row 1:08am and the next day at 1:05am Mountain time. It has not left a message, but is very annoying to be woke in the middle of the night to cell ringing to an unknown number!

Just received missed call from this random number..

Called me at 1AM ... however I had my phone off so didn't wake me.

I don't have service with Verizon, I use AT&T.

Received a call at 5:46 am and 8:30 again. Second time barely rang and then they hung up. Annoying people!

Called both my wife's phone and mine at the same time (7:02 AM), different number on her phone though. We are with Verizon also.

this # called my husbands cell at 2:05am, and I also got a call at 2:05am, but mine was from 767-275-9173.  It sounds as if there is a scam going on or someone has obtained a list of Verizon cell phone #'s?  Is everyone else here on Verizon?

Not even a full ring came through on my cell phone. I didn't pick up or call back. Did an internet number search, found this site. Glad I did. Very good information found in posts above. Thanks! Damn scammers and hackers...

I just got the same thing. 1 ring and then disconnected. I wonder if they are targeting a certain area code/region or cell carrier? What are they able to do by calling and hanging up?

Called me at 1:00 am on my cell, wole me up. Only rang once. So frustrating.

Called me at 4:02am EST. I called it back but it wouldn't even ring. After reading the posts, I'm going to block the number.

Do not call back, when you call back, you are making an international phone call to Montserrat (British Territory in Caribbean).  You will be charged international rate for the call - the scam is the international call fee that you pay to your cell phone company (about $2 per minute with my carrier), which then share the fee with the phone company in Montserrat, which in turn shares the ill-gotten gain with the scammer.

There are a lot of one ring foreign calls being made at this time to cram peoples phone bills. Tread carefully, don't answer, don't call back!

ok someone is trying to hack our phones i know this cause i have the skill to do it i realized it that country should not even be calling DONT CALL THEM BACK its a way  for them to hack into your phone reply or like this comment if u understand
