I stupidly called this number back, since I missed the call.  Was charged  for it on my ATT plan, since it's Montserrat, and not in the U.S.  SCAM!

Called Verizon Wireless, it is a call-forwarding call to England.  No idea why anyone would want us to call them & what they could get out of it.  Verizon Wireless had no idea why either.  

Called my cell, rang once, then hung up. Left no message. I have AT&T.

called my phone 4 times in the last week never a voicemail left.

Got a call from this number @ 11:30(est) on 01-12-14 & didn't hear the phone ring because I was in the other room.  I didn't recognize the number, so I'm glad I looked it up here instead of calling it right back. I have free long distance (Sprint) but I'm pretty sure this wouldn't count. I wish there ws a way to block numbers like this. I would gladly pay for the service!

Called late, rang 3 times, left no message. I have Verizon.

Tired of this number calling me day and night.....don't know anyone in that area code....how can I block it????

This number called my phone, my husbands phone, and my daughters phone all at the same time: 5:35pm.  None of the calls were answered.  This appears to be a scam and I know first hand from my mother-in-law being scammed thousands by promises of winning millions.   Her phone calls seem to originate from Jamaica.  

Called about 1:30 am on the 10th of this month rang a few time.When i answered they hung up. I am also on straight talk

In the current variant of this scam, the caller doesn't have any intention of talking to you. All the scammer wants is for you to get upset enough about the late night call that you return the call, never even noticing that it is from a foreign country outside the reach of US or Canadian laws. When you return the call (at international rates), there may also be a big surcharge added to your phone bill that gets passed along to the scammer.  Many of these calls come from Grenada, but more recently, a large number of reports have been received reporting similar calls from Dominica.

What appears to have been one of the earliest reports of the original version of the scam (unless the original publication date that I gave of the Scambusters report is actually correct) surfaced about 11 years ago in Japan.  There it became known as the "Wangiri scam:"

They called me at 6:28AM today, let it ring and no message was left. Says they were calling from Montserrat, maybe this has something to do with the Target or Snapchat leak?

Do not call this number back. That is what they want to do, rack up long distance charges. The call is coming from Monterratt, and will be expensive to call. Another scammer, and of course no message left. Number is now blocked on my cell phone.

I got a call from this #, it showed up as Montserrat on the ID. I did not answer of course. Thank goodness! Those SOB's!!!! No message left. It's blocked now but I guess my 'do Not Call' registry is not working. How do they get our numbers? Am w/T-Mob so I guess it doesn't matter who your carrier is, it looks like they're hitting them All up! I'm contacting the FBI and a couple other Federal Communication agencies. They need to STOP!

3 pages of complaints on this number since yesterday! I have Verizon. They called my cell. Anyone that calls this number back will get high charges on their phone bill! Be careful. I accidentally clicked on it and it started to dial. I better check my Verizon account, Ugh. Now the number is blocked. Called at 7:57 This AM. No message as usual.

Called at 2:27 eastern time, I didn't answer, obviously, but I also have Verizon. I blocked them from calling me again.

This number belongs to a person or business in Montserrat. Montserrat is a British Overseas Territory located in the Caribbean. The island is located in the Leeward Islands, part of the chain of islands known as the Lesser Antilles, in the West Indies. I got a call this Friday morning at 3:55am while I was up watching the Flintstones.

This number called at 1:10 am. I was sleeping. My phone rang twice just enough to wake me up. I have Verizon. I get a lot of unwanted calls. Some numbers come up as, 000. Were is that from?

Called at 2:18 AM. Didn't leave a msg.

Same for me - I have T-mobile, called at 2:28am central time. Only let it ring once or twice, just enough to wake me up!

Called this morning just after midnight. Didn't recognize the number. I am so sick and tired of this stuff happening. I would gladly pay extra to stop it.

It's a Bot, just save it as auto spam and give it a no ring tone.  
Don't call it back and be charged $$ per minute.
