Invalid area code (665) and invalid exchange (000) = spoofing scammers/don't answer!

Find, block those area code numbers.
They just change to another number.
Plus, have you tried blocking 800 numbers.
My system won't let me block 800 numbers.

Go ahead and file your complaint!

There are no loopholes in the "do not call list".
Taxpayers support this system and it does not work!

We received a call from this number....We are on the NO CALL list as well,,,,,which, evidently, means absolutely nothing anymore....:(

That was unbelievable. I looked at my Caller I.D., didn't pick up and there was no message. I never press any numbers that the caller gives me. Some of the people who call are real lowlifes. Since you were so badly treated I would report that number to your phone company and the FCC: http://www.fcc.gov/

Also, My husband and I have Caller I.D. through our phone company and the small monthly cost is worth it. We bought Panasonic phones (KX-TGA-652) a few years ago and we can block up to 30 numbers. This sounds like a caller you'd like to block. We also block all calls that come through without showing a phone number. And we get more of those than any other.

I received a call from this number and we are on the do not call list as well.....I pressed 9 to have myself removed from this list....and the very rude guy said..."Shut the f*ck up....B*#ch".....and promptly hung up...This company is unbelievable....

I received a call from this number to my number that is on the Do Not Call list. It was a recorded message from "Card Holder Services" claiming that they could help me reduce my credit card interest rate. They made the recording to sound like it was a bank I currently have a credit card with. I pressed 9 to speak with someone and got someone who doesn't sound like they were calling from the western hemisphere.

I told him that this number is on the Do Not Call list and I would have to file a complaint against him. He promptly hung up.

Recorded message said in reference to a letter I MAY have received regarding lowering my interest rate and press "9" to inquire.  I pressed "9" to try to get off the list.

When line opened up, there was a lot of backgrund conversation like it was a call center.  Very snappy person said their records showed I had debt of more than $3,000 and asked if that was correct.  I asked whose records was that? and she again said "is that correct?".  I said "I don't know who you are and I don't think you need to know that and I don't want you to call here any more!".  She hung up before I could say anything else and I had plenty to say.  I was infuriated.  I was somewhat rude to her but no more rude than she was to me.  We ARE on the Do Not Call Registry but apparently they got through a loophole.
