Someone called from this number and when I tried calling back there was some weird music playing and no one never answered the phone. I don not appreciate people calling my house playing on my phone.

No joke.  Keep blacklisting their number and then they call back from another number...how many numbers do they have??  I already bought a car and the only time I even used their site was to see what was out there.  Went directly to a dealer when I decided.  

Persistant bunch.  Just as bad as all the attorney mailings I received after I was hit.

This is a telemarketers calling to follow up after you signed up on Cars.com website.

loan company looking to help you get approved for a auto loan.  i called them back and the guy was very friendly

I continuously get a call from this number, yet the call is terminated as soon as I answer. I really want the calls to stop. Recently an individual attempted to steal my identity using a phony call about an online payday loan. I think that the person calling from this number  may be attempting to do the same.

They call non-stop over and over.  I decided to try psycho dialing them back.  First, I get the creepy music, then someone typing, then they hang up.  Next I get some girl talking mid converstaion and then she hangs up.  Then it doesn't even ring, just sounds like someone typing.  Very strange.....

This number called me and as soon as I picked up, my playstation 3 came on... Weird.

Got a call from this number AGAIN today, they have called everyday for the past 2 wks. Normally I don't answer 'cause I don't know the number but it's just getting ridiculous! There was just music playing when I answered and then it hung up, so i called back and heard more music, no one ever picked up. Called back using the *67 like someone posted about and some guy answered and said they were calling because I registered on CAR.COM (which I never did) I told them to remove me from their call list. He said needed my name and number, I gave him the number & said if he called me should already know my name.. we'll see if they call again. Next time I won't be as nice when I call back!

They just called me today and i did not answer in time so I called back and it was some girl. "She said,Hello (is this"my husbands name")and said no is is not can i take a message she say's no and hangs up.I looked this number up online and saw this.I called her back saying what i have found on the web relating  to her phone number and to never ever call my house again.And this time i hung up on her lol..errrrrrr these kind of ppl get on ym nerves! go get real jobs and stop trying to take advantage of ppl!

I just called them back and got a women who wanted to know if i was interested in buying/financing a car

The real freaky thing is if you call them back they say "Hello can I speak to [your name]"  I just called them and told them I refi'd through someone else and please stop calling me.

I guess that is it I just bought a new car a month ago.  But how did they get my cell number is a mystery.  I don;t give it to anyone.

God these annoying bastards won't give up. I will just have to change my number, I don't know who they are looking for, but it's so aggravating to continually tell them to stop harrassing me.

I would like to know who called my house? and why were they calling? Is there someone that I can talk to about this problem? Because this should not happen when this number is not listed.

I received a call today from this number! I have no idea who it is! I heard the bizarre music also and then they hung up.

No clue as to who this is!!

I have answered these calls 4 -5 times a day, when I say "Hello" music is playing and then the line is disconnected... So annoying and weird.

Called my cell phone - left no message.  I don't answer calls I don't know - they should leave a message if this is a legitimate call.

Got one of these today. Got one 4 days ago from a Florida number, 407 401 7461. Same thing with the weird music. No rhyme or reason to it?

i got the same thing as evryone else, but then i called the # using *67 (*67-678-253-1519), and a guy picked up claiming to be w cars.com, when i asked about calling w this weird music, and when i call just more music he laughed at me and told me "its magic"

THIS NUMBER CALLED ME SEVERAL TIMES.  I SUPPOSE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE UNSPEAKABLE THINGS THAT I DID TO THEIR MOTHER... AND SHE DID TO ME

I got a call from 309-263-4601  and then a call from 678-253-1519. I don't know who these peolle are but they don't leave a message and if they do it is all static....I don't answer calls I don't know the number. My number is on do not call listing and I am going to report them there....

Hey, I just called back, and they answered, and knew it was me!  It's Cars.com so if you've had any interest in getting a car loan or are shopping around, that's what it is for!

I just got a call from this number and they left no message. Same as Jo, I called it back from my work phone, had a minute of bad music then they picked up. you could here chatting and what souded like laughing in the background. I didn't say anything and waited for them to say something and then they hung up after 10 seconds.

God I hate these people.
