I just received text from Beneficial Bank-I knew it was a scam because I don't have an account there.  877-684-6966. I called and gave them fake number and fake pin, then I had them read it back twice to waste their time.  Then I talked for about 2 minutes as if I was a lonely old man and told them I had lots of other accounts in the city.  My phone is blowing up with different banks with fraud alerts. This is hilarious!

I got a txt this morning. It said it was urgent from beneficial bank. It told me urgent message and to call a number (which I wouldn't even dare to call) and then said:   XXXXXXXXXIssue and it said my attention was needed.     I totally knew it was a scam.   A: Because I don't have anything to do with beneficial bank.
B: I am a MINOR. I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW I EVEN GOT THE MESSAGE.
I mean, how did they even get my number!?!? Let alone I got it from a number that only had 6 digits.

Just got a text message from Beneficial Bank saying that my credit limit on my card was mistakenly lowered because of computer error and asking me to call 215.331.0133 to have my credit limit reinstated.  I do not have an account or a credit card with Beneficial Bank.  I called the number from another phone and it asked for the last 4 digits of your SSN and then for your credit card number.  This sounds like a scam to me.

Got one 3-8-12  6:30pm stating found a problem in your silver acct. Call  Really? Asked for a full refund on it, but they don't take return text msg. Is it possible it's just a US number used to relay garbage from another one of those 3rd world country scams? Darn, really hoped it was an account I had forgot about.     Darn no silver lining after-all.

This phone number belongs to a company called Xilogix, LLC. I ran a trace and even called Michael Vassen, the general manager who confirmed owning the phone number. the website is xilogix.net and their main phone number is 678-255-2600. I've reported this to the Atlanta Secret Service.

Perhaps you all should *67 and call Mr. Mike at 678-255-2600 and ask him to explain why one of his company's phone numbers is trying to scam people.

Oh, and provide this information to as many websites as you possibly can:

I researched the number and it belongs to a company Xilogix, LLC in Atlanta, GA. Ironically it's a technology company; you do the math... I called their main number and the General Manager Michael A. Vassen answered and I asked him if he knew the number. He admitted the number belonged to Xilogix and then I disconnected the call.

His companies website is xilogix.net.

A quick business search shows this url http://corp.sos.state.ga.us/corp/soskb/Corp.asp?159475 provides the business address of 2812 Spring Road SE, Suite 210, Atlanta GA 30339 for Xilogix, LLC.
