A state or provincial law may have told you that, but in most of the US, only federal law is available. The FDCPA sets no numeric limit on phone calls and *does* permit calls to PoE, absent contrary instructions. The Act does prohibit annoying and harassing patterns of contact efforts, leaving it to each of us and/or the courts to define our own pain threshold.

Even if you have medical insurance there are co-pays and deductibles on every policy.  They're calling to collect that money.  Most people from collection agencies have a criminal record and have trouble finding work so they take these jobs.

I received a call from them and an automated voice answered saying "This is a very important message for *******(My name), if you are ***** please press 1" so I pressed 1 to try to talk to someone to tell them to leave me alone, I have no debts in collections and noone else has reason to contact me either.  It took me to automated music and the message "we're sorry for the delay, YOUR CALL is very important to us, please hold."  I hung up.  What the hell type of group does all that?  They call a lot and never leave a message and now this when I am just wanting to tell them to leave me alone.

this number called and asked me to press one if I was the person they asked for or 2 if I wasn't the person they asked for. they are looking for my 11 year old daughter. what do they want with my 11 year old daughter? I am not going to answer to them until the ask for me.

Called me and asked for someone I never heard of. Told them so and he says "Then why are you answering his phone" I hung up.

Called yesterday & today each time asking for a Daniel Helms (?). When I press 2 denoting that I'm not that person, they say they'll delete my number.  Obviously not.

Put your phone on silent/vibrate so you can know if your son is calling, and you can still ignore these other jerks.

I have been receiving calls on my cell phone from this number for months.  How do I get them to stop?

Joker calls asking for Al. I said I don't know any Al. He said "Then why are you answering his phone?" I hung up.

I ignore calls I don't know the number.  They stopped for awhile, but I see they started up again.  Ny phone is a somewhat new number so I have no idea who they want.  If you answer the call there is no one there, so I have no idea who they are calling for.

I keep getting calls from this number. I don't know who they are. I believe it's a scam number. I want to block this number.

Keep a log of the number that called the date and the time of call, take it a lawyer and sue the hell out of them for harrassment. We are suing another company for calling us several times a day...hope this helps.

They are only allowed to call THREE TIMES a week....and NEVER AT WORK.

Get one on my work cell phone about once a week for the last 15 weeks.

Receiving daily calls; they call & then hang up when we or phone machine answers.  Already submitted this number of whoever this is to "donotcall.gov", & now to you.

678-327-2333 calls all the time. Never leaves message and we never answer a call from anyone who hides the ID. That's why we pay extra for caller ID. If they would not hide the name then we would answer. Besides, from what I have read, they are a collection place for medical bills and we have had good insurance for the past 21 years. Also, our phone number is fairly new as of six months ago anyway. Must be looking for party who was assigned the number before we moved here.

Get a call from them everyday.  Don't know what the hell they want, I don't owe anybody any money that I should pay. I just ignore the call as I do all calls not from my area code. Thank God for caller ID.
