Thanks for the info. I have been called by the 5585 number at my place of employment and I've had them send a collection letter of a debt that IS NOT ON MY CREDIT REPORT. All debts on my report I've had investigated when my wallet was stolen in 2000/2001. I owe no one a dime and my credit report is rediculously low because I do not use credit cards or loans or anything. I do without what I cannot buy with cash. Now I'm being bothered by Hollander Chase & Assoc under their assumed Cowen Swartz and A**. for a debt I NEVER made. If someone used my info and stole their money, they are going to have to go to court. I have all my police reports and everything. I'm ready. Why didn't this come up in 2000/2001 when I cancelled the card and never took out another credit card again? Something really stinks in this collection company.... BEWARE GIVEING THEM A DIME!

these ppl keep callin for my sister..we checked it out through the F.B.I. & indeed this is a SCAM...if u get calls from these ppl hang-up they said they will arrest my sister...GOOD LUCK!!!...& to top it all off my sisters husband is a cop...HAHAHA...they picked the wrong person...we all know the cops are not going to call u to let u know they are going to arrest you...it seems these days ppl will do anything to scam ppl

I received a call at work today from a man who said "I'm calling from Holland Chase & Associates, we were hired for legal representation by payday1 loans to collect on a loan that was deposited into your account at ***** ******** bank in 2007 which you have never made a payment." I told him I knew of no such loan and this was a place of business (911) and he was not to call back. He told me to fax a copy of payment being made on this account to him at 800-592-5461and he would stop calling. I again told him I did not know what he was speaking of and to not call again. He told me I already said that and to stop repeating myself. (OK I'll play your game idiot) Sir I'm a little busy right now What is a number I can contact you at when I get a minute. 888-286-3470 ext.331 - and who am I speaking with again - Herbert Joseph w/ Holland Chase & associates representing payday1 loans. I then said I am formaly requesting that you remove this number from your contact list, this is a place of business this is 911 Sir and by law you are required to stop calling. He hung up on me. Now in 2007 I started to apply for a pay day loan (funeral expense) but decided not to go through with it. The thing that is realy frightening is that this person had my old bank name and year I held account correct along with work number, god only knows what other personal info he or any one else assosicated with this front has. Wish he would have called on a recorded line. Not giving up on this one. The hunter will be hunted, am filing complaints with every jurisdictional agency

I was called by this company and told I was trying to obtain a loan through false pretenses and a suit had been filed against me and that I needed to call a Mr. Anderson ASAP!  The number used was 678-341-5666.  Just one of the many numbers they used

Some computerized Message saying they have an important message for me and that I need to call today.
I called and told them to fuk off.

They said they were calling from Peter Simons and associates and had complaint against us, but have had calls from the same number saying they were from Hollander and Associates.  They said it was check fraud but have nothing

THEY KEEP CALLING MY NUMBER AT WORK LEAVING MESSAGES THAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR ME FOR CHECK FRAUD AND LEAVING ME CASE AND DOCKETS NUMBERS.

THEY CALL EVERY DAY 2-3 TIMES

got a call from a new 678 number to call Stan Jones re: a bad check issued to repay a payday loan....never had a loan, their backup data questions didn't even match me, wrong DOB, SS#, parents name. Told they would quit calling, haven't, at least once a day...Turned matter over to Michigan Attorney General's Credit Collections Division, alsothe Federal Trade Commission, case now on file with multiple entries....File youe own complaints call FTC 1/877-382-4357Caller: Hollander Case & Assoc.

Had not had a call since feb. 10th, recieved one at 11:32 a.m. from a Rick Duggan this time, stating he's holding a warrant to be served at my third shift job, I am incidentally retired, this was my last chance...Supposed to phone 888-853-1284 and reference docket 116-345.....The BBB in Atlanta closed this complaint, they'll get an update though, as well as FTC and Atty Gen'l

After googling this company, I find that many have gone through a call with these people being a scam.  Then I received a piece of mail from the company who sent this.

We just got a call from them today asking for a person neither of us in this house ever heard of.  Advised them that I would seek council from my own attorney if we hear from them even once more.  Had to call the number back to get the company name.

They called saying I was being investigated for check fraud because of a person I know.  Who do i turn to for help?

My daughter is not there, so my mom called me. and i decided to look the number up online and found this page and these complaints. We will fill out the form and file a complaint. Glad for web access in situations such as this.

I just received a call from my aunt who received a call from a Kaylin from Hollander Chase and Associates and I didn't even recognize my aunts number let alone give it out as a reference.  I have received several messages from this Kaylin offering to work out my situation voluntarily. I had no idea what this was about and decided to look it up.  I'm glad I did.
