I rec harrassing calls from this company also until their investigator Mr. Hutchinson took over my case. He was nice and helpful and explained the situation to me. After I paid off the debtor he had them send me a letter to keep for my record

it's amazing that i'm seeing these comments bout this company cuz i've 2 has also had this experience with edmonds & jennifer but not 2 da point where da convo got heated but they have used da sametactics as i'm seeing everyone on here is claiming and at first i gotten a lil shaken up 2 but found that all they doing is blowing smoke.........however i googled them and there is sum 1 claiming 2 have worked with them that has quit is spilling da beans on them........and 1 of the things he stated that caught my attention is that these people does not have a corporate office they are actually working from home.........don't know how true this is but i believe it in a sense cuz when you talk 2 n e 1 u neva hear n e otha voices or what not and it sounds like that they are in a room of sum sort.........but whomeva wants 2 check it out google them and read this person who use 2 work 4 them story he/she evens give u an email where he/she can be contacted and he/she claims they can help stop them with these illegal tactics

I also took out a payday loan and have been out of work due to ankle surgery. I have been getting very threatening phone calls from a Jennifer Hammon at HZB financial; she stated she was turning my over to the lawyers if I did not pay by Friday and I would be arrested on felony charges. They already messed my bank account up that my bank closed my account. I am on public assistance while out of work due to no work benefits. She said I would lose that. I work as a caregiver for the elderly, if brought up on felony charges, I won't be able to make a living. I am also going to college online for BS Psychology and threatens my future. I lost it on the phone today and stupid me started crying, she told me not to yell at her and curse. I told her I wasn't I was crying. She threatens me every time she calls with this. I handed the company into my state banking institute complaint department. I am waiting for news back.

Did you hear back from them? i got a very strange call from a Mr. Edmunds today also....and I have no clue what he's talking about and dont know if I should take him serious or not.

Edmonds is from HZB Financial Services Inc. - did some research on them tonight.  They are a collection agency and very aggressive and very illegal.  He leaves threatening messages about FRAUD and your social sec. # so you call back. In my case, it's an unpaid payday loan and he's non-stop.  We'll see what happens....  Google the company and see for your self....  here's a quote from their web site   "  HZB will perform any services required in an attempt to resolve an outstanding account.  HZB uses all of the modern electronic collection tools while relying on
the old fashioned ideas that hard work and fair treatment garner the best results.HZB is prepared to make every collection effort possible on behalf of our clients. "

Well Mr. Edmonds did the same to me and I have some news for him.  He received a Debt Verification letter with some very specific requirements on it.  They will not be able to comply.  Also reported them to the California Attorney Generals Office as he really messed up when he told a law enforcement person MY personal information!!!!!!!!  Good going Edmonds, start looking for a new job!!!!!!

A Mr. Edmonds called told me that i owed a $ 250.00 bill pn a loan that was paid in full. Told me that i was " uneducated". Told him that he could not call my work and he said that he could. He is full of it.

This is Mr. Edmund like everytone else stated from HBZ. I am havig the same issues and everyones replies were so helpful. The other problem I am having with this company is that iu am being contacted by so many different people who are claiming to be police officers or sergents from this company it is crazy, I had one person call me, cuss me out and then he hung up on me. I called him back because he number came across my caller ID and he claimed to never had contacted me. I just created a DV letter and will be sending it tomorrow certified maik with return receipt! This is so petty it is crazy!

Also please be advised that you will get these same calls from a Mr. Beckcom same company, always sounds like he's calling from home.....claimed I was going to be arrested for fraud on a pay day loan. Lawd help him.

Mr. Edmonds called me today toinform me that my bank confirmed all the information he has and I would be getting sued $6,000 for a $300 loan. He even told me that my State's Attorney was wrong and I should pay the bill before he garnishes my wages. LMMFAO.

I have just received a call from this same number.. After reading the previous post I shall not and will not be returning this phone call. This same thing happened to me about a couple months ago from another number and another guy. Threatening me with a subpena and I still have not heard anything else about this. Also the guy before stated that this was due to an unpaid Payday loan/ Which I have never even had. So I knew that this was FRAUD. I shall not and will not fall victim to this type of mess. Thanks to everyone that has posted something on this website about this call it has helped me to make a Huge and Great choice not to call.

Ok, so I've read the comments and am finding it difficult to believe that some random person happened to find this site and is badgering the other commentators about paying their pay day loans. My question is, how did you find this site if you've never gotten a call from them?? My guess is you work for them or have nothing better to do. This is my issue, no one ever bothered to ask us if we've even paid the loans back and are being harrassed anyway from companies who stole our information. I actually had a payday loan and I paise it as agreed every 2 weeks with interest. I followed the rules and held up to my end of the agreement. Months after I paid my account in full I started getting calls from people with Indian accents demanding $$ from me, sometimes for thousands of dollars saying I had a loan out. After argueing with many of the callers stating anything from sending me to jail, issueing me a warrant, dragging me to court, etc etc, I called my original loan company who advised me that they knew this stuff was happening and asked me for all the numbers I had received calls from, as I did so they told me there was no way for me to get the calls to stop unless I changed my number. So I've been pitting up with these calls for 6 months now and today I get mr edminson calling who speaks perfect English asking me to call and give him a moment of my time to discuss the fraud against me. I am not calling him back and I'm finally changing my phone number, I can't take it anymore, I've received 18 calls demanding $$ on a payday loan from companies I've supposedly taken deposits from that I've never heard of. I am a good person just as all payday loan people are. No one deserves this treatment even if they've never paid the loans back. The law states as well as the Fair debit credit reporting act, FCP, including all federal and state laws that it is illegal to call someone in this manner. I'll be reporting this number to my state and federal entities for a swift shut down on their illegal practices.

Ok..Just got a call from this guy saying that I was under investigation and I needed to contact him on this matter to get it resolved. Only problem is, he said a totally different name on my answer machine!! So when I tried to explain to him that he had the wrong number he got all pissy and asked for my SS#.
