This number keeps calling my cell phone several times a day and into the evening. When I say hello they just hang up. When I called them back I could hear someone but it was not a good connection. They sounded far away and the line was "crackly". Then the call disconnected. I recently signed up for an online survey and have been being harrassed by this number ever since. I wish someone could put a stop to this.

This is a phishing scam.  They tell you you've won something then attempt to "confirm" your credit card information, in order to steal your credit card.  I reported them to the Federal Trade Commission and Marietta police but they are still calling.

I have received 10 calls already today not including the many calls I received yesterday. They say that they are with clear water and if they don't say that they say I have been entered into a million dollar sweep steak. Then when I tell them to take me off their calling list they hang up on me. HOW RUDE. The only thing that I can think of is I must of given my number on the internet.A horoscope thing I remember giving my number to so they could text me my horoscope and ever since then I have been receiving these calls that's got to be it. I don't know what else. It is very annoying though.

I answered the last call of 4 in a row. Before the lady could say two words I informed her she had reached a government cell phone. I told her the calls were being logged and I needed her info for my supervisor for billing purposes. She informed me she was with America's Reading Choice based north of ATL. I asked to be removed based on cell phone belonging to a government agency. She stated it would be 30 days before it could be removed.

This number called me about 6 times a day for two days. when I picked up the phone the call would be ended. The last time this number called there was a lady  so I asked her to take me off their calling list and her reply was "take you off what list ms.(my last name)" then there was an evil laugh and the call ended.

I received 2 calls from this number today. Reverse look-up shows that it's from a land line in Marietta, GA. The second call I answered, and it hung up 2 words into the conversation. I was able to put the number into my cell phone options as a "rejected" number. Hopefully, this will put an end to them calling me.

I have been getting calls from this number for days but I will not answer. I am on minutes and if I don't recognize the number it is a no go as well as unknown.

There are 3 numbers that started calling me in one day and they all have the same broken connection. One time a lady insisted that I signed up for their business class online. (I didn't) They probably charge you a lot of money per minute that you stay on the line.The other numbers: 866-201-4573 and 201-257-4210. Don't answer.

I got a call from this number twice today and once yesterday.  I never answered my phone.

I get phone calls from this number both at home and on my work cell, everyday.  I have opted out of every contact that I possibly can.  When I try to call the number back, I get a weird signal.

So I got a called today from that number they probably called at least 4 times and I picked up 2 times. Finally someone responds back and tells me they are from NW...something something company rewards and that I won 1000 in shopping spree and I can use it on whatever I want like shoes and clothing. She asked how old I am and if i prefer mastercard or visa. She then stated if I still live at my address and then she told me what address I was living at and it was correct. Im scared because everyones been saying this is a scam so since that person has my address wouldnt she have my creditcard number too?

They call me 8 times or more a day.  All day.  They have called 7 times today.  If I answer they hang up or just sit there and breath on the phone.  This is rediculous.

Calls me 6 times a day never says anything just hangs up and when I call back it just rings or they pick up and hang up

I got a call from this number, and I meet alot of out-of-state people from my university so I am in the habit of picking up calls with unfamiliar area codes. Some lady answered and said that she was based in Atlanta, GA, and was a representative for major credit card companies (Visa/Mastercard/etc.). She said that it was a good thing that I answered because it meant that I was selected for a $1000 shopping spree for being very good at paying my credit card bill or something. She also said I would get 4 magazine subscriptions for $3 a week. Then she said that in order to do this, I needed to verify the 16-digit number on my credit card. I told them NO. I mean seriously? And now, I get calls from this number every single day, about 3 or 4 times a day and when I answer to try to get them to take me off their calling list, they just hang up after about 5 seconds. SO ANNOYING. SUCH A SCAM.

These are all scam numbers and everyone should be aware that they will continue to call unless you block the number. I have AT&T/Cingular as my cell phone carrier and for $4.99 you can get "Smart Limits" which allows you to block up to 15 numbers.That is how I have managed to keep the phone ringing off the hook.
IT'S A SHAME THAT I EVEN HAVE TO BLOCK A NUMBER BECAUSE THEY KEEP HARASSING ME AT WORK AND AT HOME.
Maybe this will help some. Everyone needs to take caution when filling out a survery on-line that asks for your cell phone number. I made that mistake just as other complainers on this page and look what's happened. Maybe if there are enough complaints then whomever is in charge might disconnect the phone number!!! (probably won't be that lucky....)

Look, I don't know who keeps calling my phone. I was in class when I first got the call. It hasn't stopped...It's annoying me and I need them to stop. They keep calling and then they hang up. I was in class so I all I heard was that this guy is from Atlanta, Georgia. Don't know and don't care...they somehow know me because they knew my name...I don't know anybody from GEORGIA...so I don't know who that was...I want them to stop calling me...

This Atlanta-based company is a customer of "CBeyond" communications at cbeyond.net. I suggest you contact the CBeyond help desk and explain your security/fraud problem and ask them to contact their customer to have your number added to their do not call/do not solicit list. With enough polite complaints, CBeyond may even disable the number.

they have called three times in the past two days and every time i answer the call disconnects

they call me non stop all day. I work nights and they are interupting my sleep. Can't shut my phone off due to kids in school and emergencies.

I've received 10 calls now.
I decided to answer it, and this guy said "Hello" but there's too much static.  Then he said "Hello, Jill?"  And I freaked out because he knew my name so I hung up.  3 minutes later, I got a call again.  I didn't pick up this time.
