Identified themselves as Brett Morgan "Project Manager" for Willow Run Golf Course in Mokena. I personally know the manager for Willow Run as i do landscape for him. Hate telemarketers.

Called claiming to represent a local golf course. needing a contractor which I am, In florida. So far internet research on the company has produced a negative opinion. Did not state company name but number search says Benchcraft.

Called claiming to represent a local golf course looking for contractors.. Did a little research and appears to be mostly a scam selling advertising at golf courses which never materializes, which they have no real business relationship with. Looks very shady I would avoid at all costs. Also people on here have said they were offering different things by someone calling from this number, so there are maybe more than one angle to the scam.

This is a telemarketer, or otherwise unwelcome caller.

A guy called me and told me he was from the Rivera Golf Club in Naples, FL. I could advertise for just $595 a year. I said I have to reconfirm with my marketing team. He then said if I sign up right away he could give me $200 off. I called the golf club and there is no such advertising going on there. Beware!!!

Called saying they were from Bunker Hill Golf Course to sell add space in their program. 678-385-3900

said they were a country club representative with high income home owners. looking to put together a directory of contractors that could be used by the home owners when making repairs or new construction. only would put one of each kind of contractor in the directory.....not much of a directory, what do you think

They just called here.  The guy said his name was Todd and  he was calling on behalf of the Colling Hill Gold Club.  He wanted to speak to the owner.  I told him the owner was not available.  He said he would try back.  It's just a scam.  If he was truly from the Gold Club, he would know the owner's name.  It is not that big of an area.  Scammers need to research their prey more.  LOL

These people called my preschool business and left a message. I called back and they asked me who left the message so they can transfer me to them ...I said I will have to go check my machine and call them back. When I did call back -they must of blocked my # because now the line just rings and rings and rings. I now it is a scam but I wanted to pretty much tell off the guy who keeps calling my house! WE on the DO NOT CALL registry!! Telephone # on my caller ID is 678-385-3900 the guy was ACE JONES  $$$$$ Watch out!

Got the same call and spoke with a gentleman. I was crazy and actually picked it up. Sigh. They are an advertising company, selling space in local golf course literature. While I don't think it is a "scam," per se, it is definitely high pressure sales call. Of course he went so far as to say my business was RECOMMENDED to him by an associate of mine and when I asked who he "referred to his paperwork," but couldn't give me an actual name. I call BS. Sounded like straight up high pressure cold calling to me.

The guy Ace called me. I tried it a few months ago and it got me some business. Worth a try is you know the Course.

Got the same message today about a local project going on at a local country club.  Call was not from a local # and I did not return it.  Scam

A total jerk called me and kept on grilling me as to why I didn't want to do it, like I have to explain myself to them?!?!  hung up on me while yelling, tot horribly company

They called and left a mesaage on our business phone and used my entire name and identified themselves as calling from a local golf course. Based upon the messages posted on this site, I didn't bother calling them back

Called today from 678-385-3900 claiming to be one of golf courses in Conyers, GA, they didnt want to miss out on this 'dollar a day opportunity' to be the exclusive biz in my field.
After seeing six complaints with BBB, and reading this, not even going to waste time thinking about.

Got a voicemail from a guy named Courtney who claimed to be a project manager for Red Bridge Golf Course and Country Club.  Left the number as 678-385-3900 x 219 although "BenchCraft" is what showed up on my caller ID.

There is nothing Better about their business. Don't give Bench Craft Company your CC#.  The first charge was authorized, the two that followed were not!  Check out their BBB rating and if that is not enough key "Bench Craft Company Fraud" into your Google Bar and read what people have to say about them at Complaintsboard.com or Merchantcircle.com

They call local businesses and say they are calling from a near by country club saying that they are looking to book an event, or what ever the business they are calling offers.  They do not work for the club and are calling from Benchmark an advertising company.  Call the club they lied about calling from and let them call and complain too.  It's one thing to cold call in advertising it is another to lie to a small business about working for someone local and tell them you are looking to book, when you are looking to sell advertising.  Shady Bait and Switch.  I call the manager and she was rude.  I have asked them to stop calling and they won't.

I rcvd a call from this number twice now. They do not leave a message. My outgoing message says I will not return calls unless they leave a name and purpose for the call.

Don't know who they are, however sounds golf oriented and i am a golfer.

We are a licensed electrical contractor. Got a call yesterday and again today from Jordan, project manager at Lakeside Country Club. Said they have taken on too many projects and needed a local licensed electrician to help with over flow. We have a Lakeside Country Club here in town so I called them. They had no clue what I was talking about, no building going on at their place, no Jordan. So I assume this is a very clever marketing scam to get you to advertise in a publication that never gets printed. 678-385-3900 ext 243 is the number Jordan gave me.

They would not be able to continue to operate business if it were a scam. No worries its just advertisement.

Got the same call with the voice mail. Claiming to be from a project mngr at Renault Winery and golf resort in South NJ area. looked suspicious. Now I see why.

Telemarketer called about a supposed "referral" for advertising at a golf course that I once played a lot. I was nice to him, but now he is calling me again on my cell. I am not happy about this at all. Glad I checked this site and saw comments. Now I know what's up, thanks.

yup ditto what a scam I bet they are just stealing peoples money and running
