I received three calls from 678-325-0008 this morning on December 6, 2011, and the young lady didn't speak good English and tried to rush me off the phone when I asked her questions about the company. I also tried to Google this O'Donnell Group and came across this blog.  I made an appointment for tomorrow at 9am for a telephone interview but after reading all of your comments, I will definitely ignore the phone call, I don't have a job but I certainly don't have time to waste of scammers. Thanks to Everyone!

To all of the contributors above, "Thanks a million for saving me from this group of sketchy characters".  I received a call on 11/22/11 from telephone number 678-325-0008 and advised that the president of The O?Donnell Group, David O'Donnell, wanted to perform a phone interview with me between the hours of 10am - 2pm. As soon as I pulled up the company name in Google I saw this blog. I will not waste my time excepting the interview call with this information under my belt. This feels like being kicked when you're down. The unemployment situation is difficult enough without having to deal with false hope providing, mean spirited individuals.

Yes I am a former professional sales consultant so with any job I would screen them before accepting any interview. I got a call yesterday and when I didn't answer they left a voice mail. Normally when a legit company leaves a message, they leave very important details about who they are and what they want if they are interested in you. However, they just said I'm Ivy from the O'donnel group and I ran across your resume and wanted to still see if you were looking for a job...OK if you ran across my resume you would specifically know the type of position that I am looking for. In any event just like you guys did I googled the company and saw these postings. I also called the number back before googling and this voice mail service came on at 11a.m. saying to leave a message and they will call you back. That is already not a good sign because that was not lunch time when I called and there was not a real receptionist answering the phone. I know that this is a FRAUD. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!  THE NUMBER THAT CALLED ME WAS 678-332-6651

You know what is funny. I had the similar situation happen to me as well. This has been the 7 th company who has called that were (scamish) and had blogs about it. I use to answer my phone all the time when it was a number I did not know and I was  all excited it that it might been a company who was interested in me. Now I do not want to answer because it will be some bogus company that got my resume from some job site. All from GA too. Makes me want to give up on the job hunt. 9/26/2011 phone # 678-325-0008

I just got a call from this same company just minutes ago. I called the number back and someone said yes, we were looking for you. The lady told me that the manager came accross my number and wanted to ask me was I available for an interview. After reading everything in this blog, I don't even think that I will answer the phone! I am not interested in being scammed. When I looked up information for the company, I could not find anything and I ended up on this site. I'm glad I found this. I knew something was fishy.

The contridutions on this blog has been of great assistance to me. I got a call yesterday monday 8/8/2011 from a 678 325 0008 number and did not leave a message. I call the number back, and after a long wait, i get to talk to someone who said the president  of the O'dennell group in duluth GA would want to schedule an interview with me and we agreed for 10.15am tuesday 8/9/2011. I log on to google to do a search on this company and i stumble on this blog with very valuable information. On the interview date, I get a call from a 1-864-573-9626 and did not leave a message. I call the number back and was transfered to a lady who wanted to interview me and claimed she was in North Carolina. I asked her for the physical address or their company in duluth GA, and she did not know and hastily dropped. This is a big fraud syndicate; BEWARE!

I just got an identical call and called them back. After a long wait period and very direct questioning, I was told that they had two commissioned mortgage positions, one management and one non-management.

This is definitely a scam of some sort. I am a literary writer and graphic artist. They could have found thousands of people with mortgage experience but they went trolling for me. I small a fish with this number!

I got called for an interview without being given any information about the position.  The woman who I spoke to rushed me to agree to an interview, but all she said was it is a financial services company with sales management and non-management positions available.  The address listed is a virtual office.  I'm not wasting my time.

I got the identical message.  It is a collections place I believe.  I looked up the company and it turns out that it is a process server.  In other words, they want to serve you with a lawsuit.  The interview is just a way to trick you to come to their office so they can serve you.

This is the O'Donnell group who is a hiring manager for Riddell financial services.  This is a scam, commission only job.  These people find your resumes anywhere it is displayed publicly (such as craigslist, Monster, etc.) and call to schedule an interview.  Don't waste your time.  As soon as I asked if the position was commission only and if I had to pay my own fees to obtain the state licenses needed to sell their products, I got up to leave, and was happy to see the entire conference room (except 3 poor souls who didn't know right away that this was a scam) get up and leave with me.  SCAM!
