Hope House has been "fairly new" since at least October 2011, given how many times this shill comment has appeared. You've been making excuses for the junk calls even longer. You forgot to insert the word "increasing" before "the quantity of the calls".

I remember that post!  These spammers spam this website in batches.  Then they run away and come back again in a few weeks. Sorry - my memory is not that short! I remember the similar phrasings in all the fake posts.  A lot of their screen names seem to consist of randomly waving their left hand over a few of the keys on the left side of the keyboard.  I've also reported it in the "forum" section.

Bet she is the one who posted on another thread that she never had any "me" time! Looks like she has plenty now!!

THis charity called my house at 10 am and at first I was a little pissed. BUt then they told me about their goal to get rid of homelessness and they gave me their website. I work for this company and yes, unfortunately there are occasional errors on our behalf.  This only accounts for 1 % of the people who say "yes to a donated.  The majority of our pickups are successful and if there is ever an error please contact us immediately so that we can resolve it.  There was a mixup recently with a previous donor who's items were accidentally picked up.  She contacted us at this number and within hours her items were retrieved and returned. IN fact, here is an exact quote from that donor. "Both bags were returned to us on Saturday ? much to the relief of our daughter!! I received a call this time from 6782982073 nspire, they took my goods but did not leave a tax form.  It really is a shame that I will not be contributing  to them anymore because of their failure to do good business.  I gave because they said donations were for homeless woman children men.  Clothing and household goods I thought for free.  

I know they have phone banks but they do not monitor them and return calls unless they are requesting donations.  I would rather give to Salvation Army even if they do sell the items to less advantaged persons at least you know they are legit.

Called at 8:30pm in the evening. Asked for my wife "May we speak to Mrs. XXXXX?" I told the caller "She's not available". Caller says "Thank you we'll try again later". While telling her to not bother, she hung up on me.

went to a lot of trouble to collect/ bag and carry to driveway for a pickup by Hope House/ Nspire the night before scheduled pickup.  They never came. My stuff has my driveway filled and is still out there. There better be a good excuse, after they confirmed pickup.  Or not ever using them again. Frustrating, they never called back and are hard to get a hold of.  too bad for the organization if it is truly a good charity.

I know I'm about a day late and a dollar short commenting but I really don't get the complaints. Even if it were a scam (and it isn't) as long as someone comes and gets rid of the clothes I could care less what they do with them. It's not like I'm giving something I wouldn't have taken to Goodwill anyway, who by the way does the same thing you all are complaining about...THEY SELL THE STUFF. Yes I understand, it's the principle yada yada. It's just not that serious to me.  
But it is not a scam. They use to call me like every week even after I asked them to put me on their do not call list. It wasn't until I told them I would call them if I had anything to donate that they stopped. Now I call them when I have something to donate and they always come whenever I call. I put the bags on my porch, sometimes labeled and sometimes not and they sometimes leave a receipt LOL!

P.S. This is mostly a work from home job (I know because I did inquire about a job) which is why you are being called by different numbers many different times of the day. When they use to call me my caller ID would show the persons name and number so it did not always say clothing pickup.

Can anybody tell me how Can i get a job with Nspire, another origination i was with toll me about nsipre, but could not reveal any information about it, I don't know weather they are associated with telemarketing or solicitation, but i need to know so anybody got any information on that I would like to know thank you. By the way those of you looking for another charity to donate to try the American kidney Services the number.7704412220 that's the main office number, and tell  them you would like to donate to them and they will give you all the details on that, trust me this company is legitimate i used to work for them.

I am just reading the posts about NSPIRE and I am in shock with people who have done some research v/s some who haven't.

I think one has to research into who they are donating to too and that is all about this.

However one thing did strike me DO WE RESEARCH SO MUCH INTO PUBLIC OFFICIALS WE VOTE FOR ?
I just wished we did this right in last couple of decades and we would have been in a better state than we are. Be ready to face more poor on the streets if we keep electing morale less, hypocrites and corrupt politicians who make use of faith based politics and REAP all the benefits.

My heart just breaks when these politicians use people of faith for their own self interests. I am not a politically aligned person so do not start another bash. The word politicians is for any one in politics and not particular "flavor". To me they all taste the same "STALE"

I donate to Nspire regularly.  They always pick up when scheduled and always leave a tax receipt (although not always immediately viewable as it may blow in the wind somewhere around the yard.  For those who don't appreciate the continuous phone calls, most charities will call regularly because that's the only way to get these types of donations.  Just because you don't have someone one day doesn't mean you won't a few weeks down the line.

Just because you have a web site does not make you legitimate. They picked up a load of goods from me and did not bother to leave a receipt. When you call their number know one answers... Wish I'd donated to different organization.

I've resorted to having fun with these crooked bass-turds... when they call, I answer, wait to be sure there is someone on the other end, then I blast an air-horn into the phone.  Sure, it is juvenile, but after SEVERAL failed attempts to get them to discontinue calling me (sometimes up to 6 times per day), this is what it has come to.

I am very happy about NSPIRE because they have so many nice things to purchase but do they know who works for them? I was shopping at the Park Avenue Thrift on Pleasant Hill and I noticed the cashier pilfering through the jewelery and pulling the tags off then putting them under the counter, while her look out watched to see who might be coming. I don't have anything against Hispanic people but I do fill that these two have their employer fooled. I hope that they (the NSPIRE staff) will at least look into what I'm saying. Sorry to be the one to expose their barratry in such a way but it's better that you know
