They called me 5 times in an hour and 3 of those times in less than 30 min. Never leaving a message.

You should call the number back just to know who it is and to see if it is someone you know. You dhouldnt be afraid. Well actually you should but you should just call back and ask did someone call from this number or text them and ask who ia this. It is just my suggestion

i got a call from this number. i missed the call checked my voicemail and it was my mother in law from texas wishing me a happy bday. she lives in the 903. very strange. maybe its wiretapping or something.

I received a call from this number; it displayed on my caller ID.  I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know.  No message was left and when I tried to call it back, it dropped after a couple of rings

I just installed Skype on my computer and when I called my landline from my Skype account this was the number that showed on caller ID. This is probably one of a pool of numbers for VOIP to PSTN traffic.

this number came up when my husband called me from Hungery using Skype (calling from  his computer to our land line).

Got a call from this number they asked for me by name, but never would say who they were or what they wanted. They sounded like foreigners. They kelp asking for my credit card number to verify who I was . I am no fool. This is not the police by no means it's a bunch of scam artist. Never give any of your information to someone who calls.

Ok Tonight I got a call from this Number. 678-500-2021 when I picked up it was my girlfriend on the other end. It would sound normal enough if my girlfriend didn't live in Canada to whom I just talk to 30mins before. from a 416 area code. Now what I think this could be some kind of Police tap where they are randomly routing real incoming calls away from your phones to there # 678-500-2021 back over to your phones. All this is done to test a new phone tapping system that may make thing easy on them in the long run. So now @ some point the steps in there fieldwork can be cut more then in half in some cases. So if your Mother is calling you and your # is 770-555-5555 that call will be sent to 678-500-2021 then over to your # 404-222-2212 there's a loop hole because their # 678-500-2120 shows and I don't think they really meant for that to happen. Any how if you don't pick up it can't make the link. Most of us have already picked up the phone from these unknown calls and guess what your calls may have been recorded!!!!!!! Be carful people want it or not Big Brother is here!!!! This very Comments blog could be a site just for them to see if and how it's working.

Unreachable upon dialing back

This number called me and said he was from Domain Registration for one of my Domains and wanted to verify my address.  I took his information and answered no questions.  He gave me 1-800-591-7398 as a call back number.

This number has shown up on my phone a couple of times as a missed call. I have no idea who it is as they do not leave a message

My husband called from London using a calling card and that the number that showed up

I got a call from a know person that showed up on my caller ID as 678-500-2021. The person was calling from their office landline phone which usually shows up "out of area" on my phone. Caller is in Plano, TX and I'm in Atlanta.

I just received a call from this number on caller id and it was an expected call from a code compliance office in Vancouver, BC ...

I got a call today from 1-678-227-3509. I don't know this # at all, and when I try calling back the call go to a voicemail. Tried calling a couple times and always just voicemail. Can U tell Me if possible where this # is.Thank U.

I think you're right. It may be some kind of Wiretap technology, they're trying to test. It could also be calls from VoIP or internet phone companies. I received a call from somebody by name Samuel Okafor. The number that appeared was a 238 country code (an African country). Three days later, the same person called, but this time, it was from 678-600-2021

I received a call from this same number, 678-500-2021. The caller has male voice, and identied himself as Samuel Okafor. He has non-American accent. The name sounds Nigerian. I Believe this is a call from a Nigerian "419" scammer. Is there any way to smoke this scammers out of their holes?

Yeah A SPANISH GUY CALLED MY HOUSE.IT WAS BAD SPANISH AND SAID HE WAS FROM DIRECT TV.

I just got a call from this number, around 1pm. I didn't answer and no message was left. When I tried to call the number, the call "failed". I am also in the Atlanta Ga area, and 678 is the same prefix as my own number.

This precisely why I quit answering calls from any unknown sources.
