i understand that the tactics are wrng, but wht i dnt understand is y wuold someone ,rather an agency would have to go to this extent to get ppl to pay back something tht u borrowed??? i have gotten pay day loans whn i needed thm the most and i always pay thm back promptly..y would u mke someone trick you into doing wht u knw is right.....if you knwit pay it, bottom line.....

The is company is calling my phone said to call regarding our SSN (social security number) then last few calls saying they will send certified mail to place of employement for case is in review for a hearing. However I dont think they can do anything for they are a debt collection agency.

I spoke with Agent Porter because she is leaving a message on my phone for someonelse stating that she has a case pending with a case no.  This is my job no.  I called to advise her not to call this no again.  This is my second request.

I am getting a call from this number for a payday loan collection.  I have no payday loans and they are asking me for my social security number.  Please stop these calls.

Hello all,
This collector called my house looking for my brother today. The problem with their calls and their method of collection is that, at least in Georgia, they would never win in a court case for check fraud when dealing with a payday loan. By their very definition, the company is accepting what is known to all parties to be a bad check. Therefore, they are knowingly participating in the bad check writing and would never win a judgment in court. Which is precisely why they never actually take anyone to court; they just threaten. Hi my name is shelia and i have been receiving calls from a man from  a  678-710-8281 he has been threating me telling me that i can do jail time for a pay day loan that i had a while back. He said that they have taking a lot of people to court and that is like fraud with a check. Can someone email me and tell me what to do because i dont know what to do. Ignore the criminal threats.  It is at a collections agency to begin with because the payday loan laws are different and you have more protection.  Trust me, if they could prosecute you and have the court make you pay restitution, they would.

I have received several calls this week from a lady referring to herself as Ms. Lash on my voicemail. In her message she stated "Theft by check is very serious and if I don't return her call civil and criminal charges can be filed against me.  A contact number where she can be reached is 678-500-8445 ext. 323".  However she did not say the name of the company that she represents.

Send them this cease communication letter VIA certified mail and request a return receipt. If they continue calling after you have written proof they have received it, they can face fines of $1,000.00 PER violation:

This is a debt collection agency for pay day loans. It is not a law office, they can't represent you in court. They are just trying to get their commission. I spoke with "Investigator Preston" who is actually a Collections Specialist. Nothing in her job description includes representing debtors in court. They will try to get your for check fraud, but they aren't a law office, very important. Report them to the FTC, and your attorney General, Read your Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) rights.
