My company keeps getting calls from these people for one of our employees in the field.  I have told them and told them that they don't work out of the home office and we do not take personal messages.  He claimed to be an attorney and he then asked me if this person had any time off coming to them?  I said, "Excuse me?"..he then hung up.  Horrible, rude, pushy, and unprofessional, to say the least!!

Mr. Hill called from this number saying he was an investigator and wanted to know info about an employee.  When questioned about who he was, got very angry and threating and rude.  
He does sound like a late 30's to early 40's male, short, with a short temper doing a job he really doesn't like.

Mr. Hill called me today and told me that I would be put it jail if I did not pay him the money he demanded. When I asked if he was a collection company or an attorney he would not answer. So I would say that he is a collection agency and not actually allowed to threaten you by law, because he has no lawfull backing.

MR. HILL SAID HE WAS GOING TO PUT ME IN JAIL FOR 12 MONTHS IF I DO NOT PAY AND HE IS HARASSING ME AT WORK! DO NOT TRUST HIM!!!

An Investigator Hill left a message from this number, saying he had a case pending against me, and to call right back.  Have found other notes online regarding this number and an Investigator, where call backs were ignored.

This Invesitgator Hill called me claming that a bank was filing check fraud against me and that I needed to pay $500 to settle the debt.  I called back to speak with his "superior" and kept claiming that he was busy.  He called several times to get my debit card number and this person even had my social.  Watch out!!

A friend got a call from this number, he said Mr. Lee. He has the wrong person, and I am reporting it to the FTC for harrassment. These people need to get a good paying job, so that they won't threaten friends and families of others. If you get a call from them, and have nothing to do, call them back at all hours of the day, and hang up! Put them on the Do Not Call List, and if you can, find out who it is, and tape the phone call. You can report harrassing phone calls to the FBI, and your local Police.

Called me sister in another state. Said he was looking for me and he unstood I had made a move to another state. i have no idea why he would be calling me.

This company is DELANOR KEMPER & A**. They are a collection agency. They called me on my cell number about a debt I have no knowledge of since I have never received anything in writing. Then they called me at work regarding my 'case number'. I took the call and told them it was illegal to call me at work if I request them to stop which the 'supervisor' starting yelling at me saying it WASN'T illegal (which is untrue) and that he would continue to call me until he got something in writing. I verified his address at the address below and he hung up on me when I told him to check out consumer rights on the FTC site. I sent a certified letter of cease and desist and it was returned 10 days later unopened and unsigned.

I just received a call from this blow hole of a man. Mr. Hill informed me that I would be going to jail if I didn't pay him 1,000 dollars. When asked who he worked for I was told Delanon & Kemper, when asked if it was a collection agency or a lawyer he didn't answer. So I take it he is a collection agency or he would have said, as in TX it is illegal to threaten a person with jail unless you are an attorneys office.

I got the same call for my Wife, He said he was investigating a check fraud case that my wife was involved in. I passed the info off to my wife, she called and he told her the he was taking a deposition and had a judge on the line (BUNCH OF BS). Little did he know that my wife use to work for the Bronx Criminal Court and one the largest personal injury firms in the state of New York. Needless to say that by the time my wife was done chewing him up, he asked her is she could call him back in an hour. LMFAO!!!

Mr. Hill called my cell phone, left a message just as with the others and I have not phoned him back either.  Don't know that I will as I am not dealing with these type of people.  It is illegal to do what they do.  It has been documented on CBSNews and other news stations.  

If I did owe money I think there are other ways of contacting me to discuss the manner in a mature way.

I believe that this is a collection agency working for several different companies--and this guy who refers to himself as a "detective" is actually just a debt collector, who looks into the backgrounds of people with outstanding debts.(So in a way, he is an investigator, but probably not a criminal investigator.) I have received several calls from Mr. Hill, but whenever I ask what the name of this agency is or who hired them, they refuse to give me any information. It pisses me off, because if I am shelling out money to someone, I wanna know who it is! So as far as I'm concerned, they can kiss...*my feet* :) (Hey, this is a public forum! lol)
 For everyone's info, I'm going to verify the number that keeps calling me: 678-500-8467. The guy who answers the phone is named Mr. Hill, and they do have Caller ID...so if anyone wants to call this number back, block your phone first, just so you know. Good luck. :-)

Dont expect that to work, he'll most likely fly off the handle and start screaming at you, thats how these people generally work. He's most likely not a detective, he's probably a collection person pretending to be a detective - which is illegal.


Tell him that if he calls you about your brother again, you're going to the police for harrassment and will record any further conversations. That might make him go away.

The gentleman Hill said he was a detective, who called me on my cell phone looking for my brother. I passed the information along to my brother. Then Mr Hill called me again. I thought to myself if he truly is a detective, he can locate my brother and that's what I'll tell Mr Hill, if he calls me back. Also, going to tell him to remove me from his calling list or I will invesitage him.........

Yup Hill is who called me.  He left a message that I didn't listen to un till after I called the number back.

He said that he was an investigator I asked who he was with and he wouldn't tell me.  From what I can gather it was a collection company, which to be honest I would be willing to work with, but when they threaten you and are not open about who they are with it's BS.  

He wanted to know who I was and when I asked him the same thing he really didn't give me any info.  

When I did listen to his message he said that he had a case and case number and I need to call right back.  

When I called the number back it just rang and went to voice mail, he said his name and that it was his office.

I got a call from this number by some investigator. I called back and it just rang and rang and I finally gave up.
