Keeps calling at ALL times of the day and night. Idk what they wont. Very annoying.

They have been calling for over 2 weeks. Today was a light day, only 6 calls from the number and it's 6:30 pm. I'm sure they'll continue to call.  If we do answer, there is no one on the other end. Wish there was a way to block the number, however, the number that was being used a few weeks ago was a 303 area code. Very frustrating!

Be Careful.

New scam in California is for dirt bags to use the spoofed Chevron collections number for the purposes of collecting your personal information. Seems that once you make a deal with the phoney
collection company-you are screwed-now that they may have your BA information, phone number and
SS#.  Furthermore-once you tell the "real" Chevron to quit calling and then follow it up with a letter, they are no longer allowed to call your business or employer.

Chevron Texaco

I'm a Canadian citizen. I have a phone for when I travel in the United States as its cheaper than paying roaming fees to my home cellular provider. These clowns REPEATEDLY called my (newly acquired) American cell number. When I explained that a) I had only just gotten this number a few days prior to their phone call and b) that I am a Canadian citizen and resident, therefore ineligible for a Chevron/Texaco line of credit, they didn't believe me. I told them that should they continue calling I'd file a complaint with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the Canadian Consulate where I was staying, asking them to intervene on my behalf. That seemed to take the wind out of their sails and the calls stopped pretty darn quickly.

I checked with AT&T, and I guess what had happened was AT&T recycles phone numbers, so at some point, a debtor had listed that number with Chevron/Texaco.

Call 10 times a day, back to back to annoy you on purpose - no message

keep saying that they are looking for a specific person, but each time I tell them that they are call a brand new cell number, I get oh, ok, sorry.  I asked them not to call again.  Suprise, they keep calling.  I thought that when you said not to call you again, and they did, that they are breaking the law, wonder if they know that?!

call everyday at least 3 times a day. i have NEVER had an account with them. don't want to answer, it might encourage them.

This number keeps calling me too! I've gotten at least 6 or 7 calls from them already. I've never had any account or anything with Texaco Chevron so why are they calling me constantly?

i agree, if you don't put an account number in it then asks for your social, I just hung up!!!

They say they are Chevron.  They asked for my account and ss number.  I told them if they are from chevron they would know my account from my phone number and hung up.  

I also called Chevron to check if that is their number and they said no.  They will check it out.

I get 5 to 10 calls per day from this number starting at 8 a.m. on my cel phone which triggers a voice mail, which costs me money to access and delete, which is ILLEGAL.  Perhaps a class-action suit against these people would send the message.

I also received calls from this number also, several times. thanks for the info. I figured it was another scam rying to get money.

They called me about my ex husband's account-we have been divorced 15 years! I live in a different state. How do they get their numbers!

Received 2 calls from these knuckleheads!

First one was this morning at about 8:20am...I stay up late, so this was TOO EARLY for me!  Second call was this afternoon...they were looking for someone with the same last name [approximately] as me.  I told the caller our first & last names [we are listed in the phone book], said I didn't know a "Joseph," and the jerk just hung up (without so much as a "by your leave" or "sorry, wrong party").  Idiot!

The caller ID said "GE Money"...if I can find a web address for them, I'm going to leave them a nasty e-mail.

William- This is just an online resource so the public knows who is calling them.  Posting repeatedly for them not to call you isn't going to do anything.  I would suggest contacting them directly.

I don't have an account with Chevron, yet they kep calling me every half an hour for about three hours. How do I get them to stop? I just barely turned 18, there's no way I could even have a credit card with them, let alone owe them any money.

paid my bill in full and they still keep calling, why pay the bill if they can't get their records straight, I talked to texaco and they say it's not them but their collection handlers, when asked for them to straighten out and get me out of the collection, all they can tell me is the calls will stop when the records are updated, how long does it take been 2 MONTHS!!!! thinking of filing with atty general and pursuing a suit on harrassment, they are definately violating the federal fair debt collection act, also file with phone company for same issue of harrasment on phone lines which is violation of the companies tarriff and use of equipment, I can say 2 can play at this game now that I am debt free from them.

This number calls us and we don't have any acct with Texaco/Chevron at all. I call shenanigans.

We've contracted with a credit counseling service, and these people still won't stop calling, even after receiving payment from the service.  I suspect that I'll never be rid of them.  Be very careful what number you call Chevron/Texaco from, because they will save the number, and call you at that number 12 times a day!

I just got a call from this number on my cell, so I imagine I can expect them to keep trying. I got numerous calls last week from 330-433-5839, which appears to be a related number.

Of course, I don't have a line of credit with Chevron/Texaco.
