This person keeps calling my fax machine, my faxes are handled online so it is possible to leave a message. I have no idea where she got my number. Anyhow, use common sense, if someone conjugates their speech in such a way it makes you wonder if she had an elementary education, you should be weary. One of the messages said she was calling to report illegal activity I was doing to my company, apparently she has no idea I own the company. Then one message she said "i'm calling (inaudible) the DA in **** County about an incident that happened in June, no take that back, November 2012." No kidding no bs, she said that, so quite possibly she is a telemarketer or bill collector from the future lol. None the less nothing to be afraid of, ask her to stop calling, if she calls again call the local authorities. Do not give her any banking information!

now she called herself "chief Lewis, when I asked if she was in law enforcement she asked why

I said the term chief implied law enforcement she said it did not and asked why I was getting aggressive

she sounded uneducated and arrogant, kept telling me she would tell me who she was with but never would

I have gotten a call from this number today at around 4:00pm. A person by the name of chief Woods called my department. Asked the secretary that i was doing some illegal activities. But i have not done any of those things and the individual did not give a company name. After reading some of these reports from these people. i would like to report this number as well as i feel im being threaten by them. Please advise me what to do or can you help me with this so call company that is making these false acusations on me.

i got a call from this number,according to the msg she left-mrs. jakes or yates or sumn-she was going to turn in a warrant for my arrest her in my county in texas for check fraud. so i called her back and she expalined that the company i had a payday loan with 3yrs ago was pressing check fraud charges and they can charge whatever they wanted to for interest,late fees,etc. "according to the agreement" i signed when i took the loan-totaling over $3000 on a $500 loan but after some discussion (she seemed VERY sympathetic) for several minutes said she wouldnt charge me that amount but i could agree to pay 4 pymts of nearly $300 each as a setlement and asked for my bank card # because they dont do money orders which i'd asked about. she put her supervisor on the phone to "ok" the agreement and i then realized that i didnt even know the co. name. she told me "EBSS AND ASSOCIATES" i also asked for the address but i did end up giving my card info but after doing some research on the co. i am going to cancel that card and hope they wont be able to access anything!! wish i hadnt felt pressured to agree,now i wonder what will happen when they cant get any money; harrassing?threats?worse? idk but this is wrong! how did they get this info to begin with? what can i do to protect myself from them? the only reason i couldnt pay the loan back was because i lost my job, i just started working again and make less than $8 an hour,dont have extra to give away to scammers! my inner BS bell was ringing but i was more focused on not getting into further trouble and getting the debt resolved-STUPID ME! DOH!!

I called this number and a lady anwsered and I asked why she was calling me. When she answered she was very unprofessional and when I asked her what company she was with she studded and made up a name. I asked her why the hell she was calling me and she couldn't tell me why. Stupid people trying to get money from us. They need to find a real JOB and know and see how hard it is to made money. DAMN scam a** people. URGH!!!!!!!!
