This number has called me for several days and every time I answer, there is silence for about a minute, then they hang up. I have no idea who is calling or what they want, but it is getting really old.

I looked it up and the number originates from DeKalb county and it *is* a land-line.

Got a call today from this number, and the people knew mine and my husband's name-- 2 different people got on to inquire if it was I or my husband-- but did not say anything else.  Then I heard someone in the background say "hang up, hang up", so I hung up at that point, myself.  I usually screen calls, but was expecting a call. I Star 69'd it, so only got the number that called me.

I got a call from this number this morning but I didn't actually pick up the call. Weird. I want to know how they got my cell number...

I have been receiving phone calls from this number for the past several days. When I answer, I get dead silence for a total of about a minute, and then they hang up! I have no idea who these people are, but I know that the phone number originated from DeKalb County and it is a land-line. So that must means it can be blocked.

For several months,I have been corresponding with a company in Accra,Ghana. They claim to be an advertising agency dealing with a large Telecommunications Company.  They say they need models for a year long promotional tour. My expected salary was supposed to be US$6,450 monthly.  After many communications, and they actually originally have been calling from a cell phone with a Ghana number (233 244 812861) Finally they stated that I needed to send $500 to cover Visas and work permits. Long story short, they finally screwed up and called from this number today. When I asked if he was in Atlanta on business, he got nervous and said he wasn't and didn't know how this number came up. I called the number back, got 3 rings & busy signals. No one ever answered.

WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE

They call really early (6am) with a weird recording. Who are they?
