This company is not a fraud but this collection process is wrong. They are not be honest at all. If you get a phone call from them its because you owe a payday loan (most likely online) They just want to get paid. The tactics they use are wrong and they are lie.

I believe some one who works for title max is behind this scam, they have my personal info. This is the only company I gave my catch all number to by the way I paid my title loan off in full 2 weeks ago.
My call came from 678-666-5654. Let me make the connection so I can sue.

You are really dumb. These people are calling wanting personal bank information to "stop a warrant" from being issued, among other reasons. If a warrant is going to be issued, there is not stopping it. This is a scam and because they use so many different numbers, names and "lawfirms", they have a hard time shutting them down. How about you **** off before telling potential scam victims to "be informed and pay your debts", especially when its an imaginary debt you jack***. I wouldnt be surprised if your one of the scammers.

First I say know the law.
These people are trying to scare someone into disclosing there credit card information.  If you call them back I would suggest that you use their trick. Buy you a throw away phone. These can be purchased at almost any Wal-mart store.

A real debt collector MUST notify you or your attorney by certified mail of the debt.
They cannot threaten you with arrest.
They cannot pose as an investigator or law enforcement.
Give them NO information no social security numbers, no account numbers no address or contact numbers. If it?s a true collection company they already have this information.
If you have an attorney that you use you can give them this information.
Ask them to send the information by certified mail to you or your attorney and to stop calling you. By law they must stop.
Last report the to your local law enforcement , and your states attorney generals office.
Now understand they may not stop and the chances of catching them are slim to none. They are using throw away phones that cannot be traced.

I had this company say that I too. was used as a reference, Then turned around and said I used personal close friends and family members as references to a bad check. which made absolutely no sine to me considering I don't use checks. I use electronic payments only and only under https secured lines, & money orders.

So that set off red flags for me...This phone number is under close surveillance "wire tapped" as I write this it is a scam artist at work. & I am aiming to catch this one in act they have made it personal.

Re Sharon Ellison: She calls us everyday when we are working!!! My husband works outside the home, but I work at home so I have to deal with her stupid phone calls daily. I've already reported her to the FTC. Now I just have report to the AG and actually get some info from her regarding this case, that is not even ours, so I can send her a cease and desist letter. If it doesn't stop, we are gong to file a lawsuit. We have had it with these idiots!!!

Investigator Sharon Ellison 678-666-5823 called our home trying to sound official stating there was fraud on my husbands SS#, turns out she's trying to collect a payday loan from another person with the same name as my husbands with a totally different SS#. My husband told her emphatically that the number was incorrect, however she was adamant that HE pay the debt. Unbelievable. I could see that he was starting to get shaky because he was trying not to flip so I took the phone and let her know we had been dealing with this for years. She got loud, so I got louder then she hung up on me because she didn't want to hear me tell her how to do her job, you know, do her due diligence. She then called my cell phone returning a call when we had attempted to call her earlier and I stated I just spoke to her and she said, "oh yeah, the ghetto one." So professional. So now I have her name and number. How long before I get her address?

Received a voice mail from a male from 678-666-5823 who stated in a very commanding number that I should call immediately regarding my unpaid payday loan that is in collections. I have no payday loans. This is a nothing but a scam to attempt to get your banking info. looks like the scammers themselves have been posting above under the names Johnny Logical" and "hahahah".

I love how some people yell "pay your debts" as if everyone is as blessed as they are to be gainfully employed. Ever head of losing your job and going into debt? Oh, never happened to you? Well, it happens to people very day and life can become a living hell. You stop answering your phone after a while. No point.
