I too received a text from 678-671-7073 asking to buy my laptop. I am an IT security expert working for the government and spotted this scam a mile away. The first clue is that they want to offer $100 more than the asking price to pay for shipping to Nigeria.

Posted sale item in Virginia craigslist and got messages from this Georgia location. Offered way more than I asked for. Something is really fishy. Email name says Jordan.

i got scammed by this guy 2 days ago and was acually dumb enough to send it i feel like a f****ng idiot now...but he messed with the wrong one i have been texting his voip number and have him scared as s***...im taking this further cause we all know that with five bucks on people finder i can do a reverse number trace and get his address so dont worry guys im bring the skinny nigarian basterd DOWN!!

Same as the others but didnt tell me where it would be sent to, I posted an add on kijiji for an ipod nano touch 6th gen and was told 100 would be for shipping.I appreciate the info that has been posted here

this guy tried to scam me today also.  offered me 550 for a phone i was selling at 450 and then tried to get a bunch of personal information from me.  i knew he was a scam from the moment he contacted me.

I just received a text saying the same thing. Bogus a** number. Be aware!!!!

ya he is an as*.  i almost fell for it until i luckyly got the youtube video saying tht there is a craiglist scam sending phones to nigeria so i wanted to take a closer look. i put the phone up for 250 he offered me 450 .
and sent me an email with a fake paypal address

Same as t he others have said. He offers more money and 100 shipping. In return he asked me to ship th phone to Africa. Not sure how he gets to scam anyone but I'm sure he has it figured out.

Got text from him. Offering more $ and wants my PayPal.
Flag this guy, so People like him can not take advantage of honest one.

I too posted a cell phone to sell for $250 yet got offered $350 and $100 for shipping.  SCAM

Try to buy a stuff on craigslist using fake paypal money orders and bank account.
