Yea - I talked to this idiot today, too, in an attempt to help my son, who has issues that make coping difficult at times.  This guy had told my son he was accused of felony check writing, and Inspector Moore was having warrant issued today if he didn't pay $675.  (When he talked to me, the amount had gone up to $975.)  The more Inspector Pondscum talked and talked and talked, the more I knew he was full of sh*t.  Accusing my son of writing bad checks in 2006-2007 ... My son has not ever had dealings with the company that was being "collected" for and my son has not had a checking account in more than ten years.  I tried to talk to this guy.  VERY intimidating and rude - I told him I was trying to get information to get issue resolved - the more calm I was, the ruder and abrasive he got.  We called the company, Rent-A-Center, he was purporting to collect for ... they said nope.  We informed the FTC, the Atlanta office of Consumer Protection, Rent-A-Center is doing their own fraud investigation and I will be contacting the Dept. of Justice.  Now this creep-zoid has MY number. I hope he tries to call me.  I work in legal field and I'm going after him and his little scam through whatever legal means I have available.

I got the same phone call from this man.He said I made a check for $1000 & he said I needed to pay $2600.I spoke with him told & he said he was going to persue a felony fraud warrant.I asked for paper work & he said that they didnt have to provide any cause I knew about the loan I took out.Moore said it was gunna go up to $6500 to $7000.Is there a # I can call to reort this man.He has been calling my moms # in Texas

A guy called Mr Moore called and said someone I know is wanted for check fraud. I hung up on him and he called back and left a message that he was going to serve a warrant and this was a felony offense. The number is 678-210-2427.

the man that called from 678-710-2427 called himself "Investigator Moore" okay yea whatever.  So here are details had a payday loan 4years ago that was charged off.  Now this fool calls threating to put a warrant out on us if we did not pay him $1000.  Then the only way he would take payment was via debt card or get $ put on cash card thing.  Told him I wanted to see all the details on the account that way I could check everything out before I handed over $1000.  So waited 4 days still no email nothing then today he calls again stating BS about last phone calls that he had totally wrong and he was going to have to go on with this and get warrant.  I call the company he supposedly works for no one could ID him.  Called the National Assoc. fraud invest that he said he belong too - he was not where listed on any of the states as investigators.  Called police and bale bond people asking if we had warrant - none so far!!!!  Don?t have $ for lawyer so hoping tomorrow I can get free advice over phone from lawyer.  Also I want to press charges and restraining order against this man!!!
