Just got a call from 678-721-1456 too.  I recently ported my number from T-Mobile to AT&T.

got a call from this number when I port my number from sprint to at&t. I think this is a courtesy call from at&t

same idea, just ported my phone  from at&t .must be a follow up call

Got a call from these guys, except I have never been an AT&T customer. Also received a call from 866-317-1246, same message differe phone company. Scam... your phone company won't ask for your passcode.

They kept cancelling my sync, those s.o.b.s! I finally picked up.

I got this call today.  They asked if I was able to make and receive calls on my ported number.  I told them yes, then they asked me for my name, and then my last name.  I halted at first name.  If they were AT&T they should know who I am, especially after giving them my first name.

Yep, AT&T. I just dropped our land line and had that number replace my now former cell phone number. Very nice, pleasant lady I spoke with yesterday was calling to check that everything had gone through properly, which it had.

It was ATT. I had some mobile backup issues yesterday and they were calling to make sure I had gotten those issues worked out.

Same thing happened to me.  AT&T Wireless called and said that my business phone number transfer was approved.  HOWEVER, I never asked for a transfer and don't want one, either!  It appears that AT&T is trying to "slam" my business phone number.

Had a problem with voicemail. Reset the voicemail through AT&T online chat assistance and they called to leave a test message from this number.

Just got a call from this number. They said we had requested a number port to ATT.  We did no such thing!   Very strange!

Okay.... then why did they call me?  I have AT&T.  I heard 2 different people talking on the line when I answered.  Then they said that they had the wrong number.  Very weird!

I Just got the same call.. also porting from Verizon to att, and yes, that's what it is.

yep, got a call at 6 in the morning from this same number... just yesterday I completed a phone number port from Verizon over to ATT... that might have soemthing to do with it all..

It was AT&T Wireless. "Georgia" was on caller id.
