Rings twice, never leaves a message.

Caller ID "SDDS, INC I" (678-730-4407) called me 45 minutes after (678-730-0868).  I answered since I thought it was about the YellowBook I received yesterday.  It was! This is not a scam number.

Caller ID "SDDS,INC III".  I did not answer. No message left.  Based on previous comments this one my be okay.  I did receive a YellowBook directory in my driveway yesterday!

Harmless.  Automated call to see that you received the phone book they left.

This number called my house. No message.  I'm on Do Not Call List!

Supposedly they recently distributed yellow page telephone directories in Northern Virginia.  Why they have to call at odd times is a mystery.  They are a big pain.  Report them to FTC for a DNC violation, and the BBB.

Yes they delivered the yellow pages and it went immediately into the trash.
yellow pages and phone books are a thing of the past.  no one uses them any more.

Well let me be the first one to tell you---HOW GREATLY FRUSTRATED I AM THAT THIS OUTFIT IS CALLING ME AND THEN HANGING UP!

It's been more than six months as of recently that I requested the senders of these books to STOP!!!

It seems to me that companies like this just don't get the message or even care that a customer means business when they demand to be removed from the delivery list.

How excruciatingly rude it is to call and not leave even a brief message as to why!

I don't care if you've got 500 people to call in one day for that purpose! --- If that's even the case, then at least set up an automated response message so that people are not left to wonder whether they're being pranked!---Duh!

You response shows a lack of concern for the people being harassed and exposes the ethical misconduct of a company that acts as though they have a right to simply call and hangup on people---YOU DON'T!

The sad reality is that representatives from companies like yours don't take the rules very seriously unless the consumers start to file formal complaints with the AGO, CPA, BBB, etc...

Companies like yours should be ashamed of the way it conducts business, if what you're saying about this number is even true.

Either way there's simply no excuse for this incredulous behavior!

This number isn't the only one they use. They're also 678-730-6610, 678-730-0868, and 678-730-4407. Be sure to block them all. They machine gun called me twice each number in a matter of 12 minutes.

I got a call from SDDS, which I didn't answer and no message was left.

This is harassment...STOP CALLING...WILL REPORT TO FCC

With Verizon my telephones calls are posted on my TV screen so I can just see who is calling, then refuse the call or just hit talk and off.

Yup.  I got phonebooks last week.  Probably just checking up on their employees.

Did I get my new phonebook?  Yes, I found it on the front yard in a plastic bag thrown in a mud puddle.  I put it in the trash and blocked this number when they called.

Don't bother answering. Report them as in violation of the Federal do not call laws

It's the phone company checking to see if you got the phone book delivered. Not a scam. Just them checking on the contractors they hire before they pay them.

I am on the do not call list and they called anyway.

Note that the "phone book" they deliver is just ads, it does not have any sort of white pages section. So not only do they waste resources by delivering a big pile of ads but then they annoy people and violate the do not call list by making robo calls to confirm delivery. Sounds like their whole business model depends on the work of other people, and they really don't provide much of a service at all.

Call them back (since there is no way to opt out when they call) and leave them a message to remove your numebr from their list - and also report them to the do not call registry. dumping unwanted trash on your front lawn does not constitute a "prior business relationship".

Called 5-18-2012 @ 10:04, left no message on working recorder.

I just got a call from that company as well. I called the number back and some man named Scott answered.  I looked it up and it is a directory distributor, all over the US.  I did receive my new directory last week also.  The strange thing is that according to their website they don't service this state.  But maybe they haven't updated the list in awhile.

Wish I knew your name and address, I'd come over and kick your butt.

Please disregard my question asking where to report them. I had only seen page 1 of these posts when i posted that. I found the information about where to report them.

Somebody said to report them, and that they would get fined as much as $1500 per call. Where do we report them?

Received call this am - same as others on caller id sdds inc, III.  They did leave a message - just said "hello again".

Interestingly enuf - I have not received a new phone book - not from Dex, Yellow Book, or anyone recently - not that I want another - so perhaps they are being ripped off by a delivery person, but if they don't leave a message I don't answer and they'll never know.

Received call today from this number on the caller ID it  says. 5005 Inc III.  They did not leave message.  
So very annoying

got the same call. no message but I did receive the new yellow pages book, so that must be it....
