I received  another call where I work, asking to confirm the mailing address.  Three times I asked what the name of her company was and each time she refused to say anymore than, "We are a new local company wanting to confirm your address."  I say why do you have a Georgia phone # and no company name if you are local to Kansas?"
Scammers, don't give them any info and don't say yes to anything.  Hang up.so they can't send you anything that may have a fee to it.

Got a call where I work, they asked to confirm mailing address.  I usually don't confirm stuff like that but thought if i did maybe they would stop calling.  Got transfered, the guy was initially friendly, confirmed the address.  He kept saying just 10 more seconds but i had to hang up and answer another line.  He calls back, ask me "who do you think you are hanging up on me like that?"  I respond that I thought we were done, he had the address and i had another line to answer.  He demanded to speak to a manager/owner.  I hung up.  He calls again, angry, saying that if i hang up again he will keep calling until he speaks with an owner.  Hang up, he calls again now saying that he has filed a complaint with corporate and will only speak to an owner, he can't speak to an assistant because it is out of my pay grade.  I put him on hold and he hangs up and stops calling.  This is what you can look forward to if you try to confirm your mailing address.  Might as well hang up each time.  One person will ask to confirm the address, put you on hold and another will confirm.  Can't believe I had to deal with that, then be told I handle the situation poorly.  Now I know to treat them with respect.

Idiots call to say they are wanting to verify mailing address. Ask if business name and then ask my name then hang up on me. Rude. WTHeck. Wish I could block numbers. Called back and asked them why they hung up and they said they were wanting to send us some information, I told her don't bother I'm not interested and then hung up on her.

This is the third or fourth company to call this week wanting to verify company address.  I told them not interested and hung up
