I received a text message from this number also, this person never told his/her name and asked me if Im still looking for a job. This person text me this "We only have a payroll job to offer you this time... in which u will be printing and mailing out checks to some of my clients and u will be making $350 bi-weekly as ur salary. So get back to me if u are interested'
Then this person sent me this other text: "You will be printing and mailing check out to some of our clients and u will be mailing to them via FEDEX or USPS and I will be the one to provide you all the information needed on the check, include the shipment payment and you will also need to fill out an application for for this position and you will need to get some special items before you can start the job and you will reimbursed for that along with your first salary"
I text back and ask who is this person and where they are? I never have an answer back.
Watch out people, this is a huge SPAM number, of course I blocked this number.

This is the second time from a different number I got this scam thrown at me. id be happy to help. this person is calling me now.  Edward is his name.   edwardt38@yahoo.com

Hi guys my name as you can see is Briana Hardy, I am in the process of reporting this "Mr. Edwards" to the FBI, it ask if there are other individuals who have been a victim of this fraud to provide names numbers and addresses of them. The website is www.ic3.gov. If you want me to put you on there to help catch this crook, please text me or call me at 417-771-7192!!! I promise i am a real person trying to do the right thing!!!

Obviously its a scam when you call the voicemail says a completely different name!!!

My best friend posted online that she needed a job, this guy named Mr. Edwards (which if you call his number says a completely different name) told her about this 400 bucks a week for a mystery shopper but she has to give her name, address and social security number and says she has to cash a check whenever she gets it by fed ex. Its a scam

Do not respond to his texts. If you do, if only to stop texting, he will just keep bugging you. Simply do not respond or tell your carrier about this abuse.

I also put an add on Craigslist for employment and got the same message from a Mr. Edwards saying that I could make $400 per week.  I asked him to call or e-mail with details and he kept dragging out texting.  Now how do I get rid of him?

someone texted me saying that their name was Mr. Edwards and that they got my number off of craigslist. Then he stated that if I was still seeking employment that he has a job that pays $400.00 and that i should geton yahoo messenger to talk about it.... so shady.... i never logged on or texted again....

I sent information for mystery shopper and this Mr. Edwards emailed me and said it was a legit job.. Check sent for 3000.00 to cash and keep 400.00 and send rest on gave me the name of someone to send to. Fed Ex delivered check and said do not cash it is a scam.  Then as I had not sent money received email telling me FBI was on it's way as I kept his money... Did not cash told him sending back shredded... but address on envelope was bogus.  Then he texted me and asked where his money was - sent text back saying sending back and he again texted asking why.  Sent text back saying it was a scam and did not have that kind of money - and even Fed Ex said scam,  Sent him email in reply to FBI on it's way saying as a scam maybe I should contact the FBI... Person is scammer and trying to get your money.

I just got this TEXT msg from Mr. Edwards also, saying Hello This is Mr. Edward, I saw your Ads on Craiglist that you are looking for job, if that is still just get back to me ASAP.

I replied, If you are interested in me, then you will call me back. Please be Professional and Respectful!

I believe these kinds of text messages come after applying for work on Craigslist. I got this shortly after applying for a Branch Manager job without any contact address or phone number.

I did not get a text from Mr. Edward, but from a Mr. Geneva. I was selling a guitar and amp on craigslist. Wanted to buy it, but sent me a bad check. I lost $356 in the process. He said he would be sending the money shortly, come to find out a week later "he's in jail" and to contact 9582657135. What should I do?

Same thing here... I'm in Ashland Kentucky and got a text message, "Hello, This is Mr. Edward, I saw your Ads on Craigslist that you are looking for a job, get back to me now if you are still looking.?  I got this on Wednesday, 8Aug12 5:49pm... who knows what kind of a scam it is.

this person contacted me via text message saying they got my number from craigslist and I didnt post the number they called ! They called the number I registered my acct with craiglist . He said his name is Mr. Edwards and to call him if I am looking for a job
