the text originated from 1-410-000-030 which as you see isn't enough numbers.  A google article says that 141 is the prefix to use to block your caller identity from showing on the called line

got the same text,called my bank and confirmed it was a phishing scam and they never heard of it.  I reported it online with consumer protection

Same here, received text with "illegal" spelled incorrectly.  Phone number traces to "Nuvox Communications" based in Atlanta, GA.  Scam city.

Just got text saying "mastercard has been closed." I thought it looked fishy, so I'm glad I looked here to verify that it's a scam.

Received a text. I misleadingly put my card number in over the phone. Noticed the miss spelled word. Called my card company and they had no idea. so I shut it down.

Same as above, except I received a text.  Of course it's fake.. they misspelled the word "Illegal".  The spelled it with one "g".  Verified with my CC company that everything was cool.  Do not reply or call back.  Just ignore it and/or report it.

Got the same text.  Didn't call back.  This type of alert would come from my bank, not MASTERCARD.
Texted back "STOP'.

Caller left message saying our Master Card was cancelled for illegal use.  Not true.  Didn't call back.  Seems to be the start of some sort of scam.
