The call is fron Fidelis, they are a collection agency who will call numerous times a day on both your cell phone and your work number if they have it.

I have been getting calls from this phone# and they show in the I.D. because I haven't answered but I suspect it is calling regarding a person that had this telephone number before. I had this phone for six years now but it is still in the credit records of this person. I called the credit bureaus but they will not remove it without the authorization of this person. Many times I thought to change my phone number but I haven't done it because I am afraid I will get another bad one. I sent an E-Mail to the CEO of Fidelis asking him to cease and desist otherwise I will report them to the proper authorities. This threat has worked before but you have to get in touch with the company's top person.

My elderly mother is getting calls from this annoying recording or something and she is scared to death that someone has stolen her identity.  She has lived in her house for one year now and her number is unlisted.  I called the number back and explained that she is an octogenarian and it is scaring her, but, the woman was NASTY.  I don't know about anybody else, but I did some research and it is some bogus "collection" agency.  My mother doesn't owe anything to anybody.  She is unable to do much due to a stroke and her age.  She is having surgery this week and I don't want her distturbed.  One more call and I am going to the DA's office and to file a civil suit .  If I have to take the time to change her number, and she may get another "bad" one, or have to have it blocked, I intend to make "them" pay.  Why won't they understand?  Hewr home health care nurse said they continue to call even after I tried to explain the circumstances.  My attorney told me the steps to take and I intend to follow through.  This is ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Now, each time theycall it is recorded on the phone and they are mounting evidence against themselves.  If it didn't bother my mother so much I would let them carry on and hang themselves.  My lawyer said that would do it.  So far, they have been unreasonable.  I have never heard of such a thing.

This # shows up on my caller id at least 3 or 4 times a day. They usually dont leave messages when they do it is from Mr. White I they dont say company name and why they are calling. If i dont recognize # i dont answer. I have no idea what kind of company Fedelis is.

This company has called my fax machine for months, several times a day.  Don't they even monitor who or what they're calling??  DUH!!

I've tried to look this # up on reverse directory, but the interent sites want money to release it---even though they say it's free to look them up.  I looked up FIDELIS on the internet and only come up w/ catolic orginizations or helath care/insurance or home mtg lenders.  The msg is always a recording they say who they are looking for, "...not a telemarketing call but is in refernce to a personal business matter..."  then offer a couple choices press one if you are who they are looi\king for, press two if you know of this person are the spouse of this person or know...   No idea why they would call looking for this person here.

Called three times a day since I got my new cell phone number.  I answered once and no one was there.  They never leave a message. It's like clockwork.  It has to be on a computerized schedule.  Why do they call if they won't leave a message or answer when I tried to see who was calling?  Is there any way to block a call to your cell phone?

They have been perstering our home (in Miami, FL)for over a week now. We don't answer calls from strangers, so we let it ring and it can ring 30 times or more!

I am in Iraq and have my T-Mobile phone with me and get calls from the idiots on the other end of the 16787979355. All the time. At $2.40 cents a minute roaming charge I don't even think about answering a call from anyone but a family member that knows to display a phone number when they call. You would think that the phone provider that provides that number would look into it and disconnect the line and flag it for investigation. If any one can find out who the provider is for the number send them a formal complain and list this web site as a reference to how many people are having this same problem another option is a class action law suite against the phone company.

We are receiving calls from this number. The recorded name of the person they are asking for is someone completely unknown to us. We have had this number for 26 years!! They need to check numbers, instead of harrassing innocent people!!

Same thing here - I have a pay-as-you go and this Fidelis racket are depleting my minutes - I have no idea who they are trying to reach - but I am on do-not-call registry and they are illegally calling me for commercial purposes.

I have had these bozos calling many times and finally sent a cease and desist order. I have filed complaints with the FTC, FCC, and also contacted an attorney to take legal action against them. These people, if you can call them that, are extremely rude, vile, and I simply will not put up with their abuse. The other number they use is 877-668-0661.

I have gotten calls to my cell from this number aswell by LaKisha. I have never awnsered. I don't to any number that I don't know.
Acording to Whitepages.com the number is Unpublished or Unavailable but it does say that:

I did get a message from Lakisha, but she doesn't say anything but to call.   Does anyone have an idea who they represent?  I have never gotten a paper bill from a Fidelis, I do have stuff in collection, but I'm not aware of anything with them, and really don't want to call and find out!

This number calls our home, leaves no message.,very bothersome, it is a Georgia number.

I get calls everyday from this number.  They don't leave messages.  I don't pick up the phone because I don't recognize the number.  it is very annoying.

I have been receiving calls froms this company for months, I have called them repeatly and told them I am not the person they are seeking. I have been dealt with extremely rudely and was call a liar and told they were like a telemarketing call and I could do nothing about it.  I am in the process today of filing a complaint with the Attorney General Consumer Protection Division in the state of Washington and I have found an Attorney in Marietta, GA. who specializes in this type of problem, that may be my next move.  Has anyone been able to get the calls stopped?

these people call me daily, sometimes twice a day. I have spoken to them twice now. The first time I expalined that this is my business line and the person they are asking for is not at this number. she assured me they would not call again. The next 4 times they called I waitied for a person to answer but nobody ever did and the line just goes dead. Today I finally got another extremely rude person on the line. I advised I have told them already this is the wrong # and was assured they would no longer call. She began to yell at me and ask for my supervisor? Needless to say I told her to F*** off. I dare her to call me again.

This # keeps calling my work number for an employee that is no longer with the company. I have told them this twice and they still call daily. They do not leave messages, and my voicemail clearly indicates that I am not the person they are seeking.

The caller is Fidelis Recovery Systems out of Merietta GA according to Google. They can be emailed at consumers@fidelis.com according to the site I pulled up. If you enter a phone number in Google youll be surprised to see what you can find.

I googled the number (678)797-9355 and found it belongs to Fidelis Recovery Systems they have been calling me five to six time every day for the last 4 days. You can email them at consumers@fidelisrs.com if you like.

get calls 3-4 times a day with only an occasional message left.  Usually the number they leave is long distance (678 area code) so I don't call back.  Today I answered and after waiting for someone for approx. 3 minutes someone finally started talking.  She did not give me the company name - She said the "attorneys wanted her to call" - I asked her what attorneys she wouldn't tell me.  I told her I was recording the call and she told me I didn't have permission (though she was recording my call).  I told her never to call me again and to only contact me by mail- she became very beligerent - I reminded her I was taping the call and she hung up.

Ms. Hamilton called at my office number 252-467-2764 & requested to speak to Jeanie.  I said this was Jeanie & she proceeded to state that she was callin from Fidelis Recovery on behalf of Quik Payday. As this is my office phone, I cannot accept any kind of "personal" call like this. When I asked why she was calling me, she said that Quik Payday had hired Fidelis to collect monies owed. I asked for her address & she demanded to know why. I explained I just needed her address to send a letter. She replied "was I refusing to pay my debt". I just asked her for an address and she refused saying that I was refusing to pay my debt.  I hung up and found this on the website.

You need to save the harassing messages.  If they try to sue you, they usually won't pursue the lawsuit if you indicate through discovery that you have these messages recorded.  Also, they are not supposed to call you after you send them written notice not to call you.  That is a violation of the FCRA.

Every morning I get a call saying this call is for Angela Coranado.  I do not know who that is and she does not live here.  It says to press one if you are her.  Once I pressed one to try to tell them to quit calling my house, nothing happened.  It says stay on the line for the next available agent for a while then comes back and says no operators are available but we still want to talk to you please call us back at this number and they give a 866 number which i failed to write down, because i was NOT calling them.
