My corrective action: Save number to contacts, assign name such as 'Scam 1', set ringtone to 'no ring'. I occasionally notice that I've been called but I'm never bothered by a ring!

For new samsung You can simply touch the "X" during calling in. It's wouldnot call in again.  
Or, on the call list screen, touch and hold the number till the next message list  come out, showing what you want to do. light touch "add to reject list".

after being bothered for several years I came up with a gimmic and it worked......I went to the sporting goods store and purchased one of those loud air horns that people use to start races...they cost about $12.00..I took it home and put it in a medium sized  box slightly larger than a shoe box ...I cut a hole in the side of the box large enough to put my hand in..I put a hand towel inside the box.....Here comes the FUN...When a telemarketer gets on line I start speaking to them to confirm that they are on line I put my phone in the hole in the box reach in and push the button on the horn......Need I say more ? There are probably a lot of people walking around india saying ....HUH ...wada say...HUH....The calls have all but quit and my box still sits there "ON THE READY"....I decorated the box with BLING and such and it is now an integral part of the house .....GOOD LUCK

i think its the phone company trying to get money out out people for answering ther phone on a pre paid plan!!!!!!!!!

I've been receiving calls from this number at least once a day (always in the evenings) for the last two weeks at least. Several times I have requested they remove my name from their call list, yet I continue to receive calls.

Since this is my dad's old phone number, I need to answer numbers whether I assume they're scams or not because it could be a job offer, and so I need to take notes on the people calling in case it could somehow benefit my dad in the future.

Yet this company constantly asks for Mister (mylastname), which means they could be referring to either myself or my dad. As I've said, they continue to call me even after I've asked for them to remove me from their call list. I'm in a bit of a pickle now, because I can block their number and be called by a separate number that turns out to be them and ya de ya. I don't have a smart phone at this time so I can't just press block and be done with it, which means my 'block list' is filling up with numbers when they just use a different one later.

I was considering using Fed Up's recommendation about yelling at their manager, but I'm not a big fan of yelling over the phone. So instead, I think next time they call I'll just mess with them. I'll tell them that they've reached the Canadian Pharmacy and see if they hang up. Or if they offer viagra before I can make said Canadian Pharmacy comment, I'll start talking constantly about how big my p***s is. In the end, I'll just annoy them to the point where they never want to call me again.

Maybe I'm slow...but how do you change your phone setting to block the call? These people are driving me crazy. I'm assuming it's in settings (verizon is my carrier, samsung phone)

It's for a Online Canadian Pharmacy. I bought something from this company like 5 years ago. They have not stopped calling my cell and spamming my email  no matter what I have tried to get them to stop. They are breaking so many laws its not even funny esp every spam law out there, spoofing from addresses, no remove link, probably  using many other illegal activities  to send mail etc.  I think its comical that this is still going on and noone has not done anything about it with all their illegal activities. They will not stop unless the government or Microsoft, yahoo, google etc get involved since they are probably sending out from thousands of there addresses.

I know its time to renew my prescription I bought 5 years ago.   What a joke!

You will never be taken off the list whether or not you buy something, the trick is to not answer a call from a crazy phone number you do not recognize although they do manage to call from your area code as well so it can be difficult to filter.

They will keep calling as long as you answer the phone, whether or not you tell them to never call again, they will until you buy something. The trick is to not answer your phone when you see these crazy numbers but if you do, you'll know its a pharma call, because they take a couple of seconds to say "hello", then they will ask for you by your full name, always say "you have the wrong number" or whether or not you answer the call, put that number under "Pharma" in your contacts, that way you'll know 6 months later if they are calling you again, to skip the call, it eventually will die down. I did actually speak to a sales person and he basically said they will never stop calling as long as you answer, until you buy something!

I received a call on 9/10 and 9/11 on my cell and did not answer. The number is from Adairsville,GA.

The only way to stop them is call them back a bunch of times until they get tired of you calling and then they take you off the list

I speak several languages.  If I feel like messing with them, I can swear in three languages, ask silly questions in four, and deliver prayers in another.  There are websites online where you can find swear words in many languages.  If you get an Indian call center, try Urdu or Sanskrit swear words.  Or make up your own version of Martian. "Gritz colago vortex sleemy torfu."  Just get some index cards, mark down the phrases you want in each language and just keep them by the phone.  Or do as another lady did and answer the phone "Pedophiles Anonymous".  My friend's brother had one, "Joe's Bar and Mortuary, You stab 'em, we slab 'em".  Or keep a Bible handy and start reading the 10 commands, especially the one about LYING.  Or start reading generations of begats.  "Adam begat Seth.  Seth begat ..."  Or ask questions: "Why is a mouse when it spins?"  or "When did you stop beating your wife."  or "Do you like garlic in you chocolate mousse?"  

Or another good one "This call is being recorded for legal purposes. Do you mind? To whom shall I send the process server?"

I think that if EVERY person who got one of these calls did this, if would make the whole industry shake in fear.  We could make playing with telemarketers a new YouTube sport special.

Got a call from  16788001086 per caller id log.  Spouse just hung up on them.  I wish I had a button on my phone that would go back directly to the call center of all telemarketers and burn out their call center equipment and software.  Dream on.

This outfit has driven me crazy for a couple of years now.  I answer and tell them to take me off of their list and they hang up on me.  Then someone else calls and it's the same thing over and over and over again. They hacked into my email account somehow and sent everyone in my address book stuff about Viagra. A lot of these addresses are from school teachers and other female customers.  Now I am getting all kinds of angry emails back from my clients wondering why I am sending them info on Viagra!!!!!!!!!   I don't know how to stop these people.  Anyone have any ideas?????    I am already on the don't call list, which doesn't seem to matter to these people!

Called me once I didn't answer.  Googled the number came across you guys and found out the number is invalid.  Sound about right??  SIMPLE SOLUTION:  Idk of any cell phones or home phone companies where you can't block the number.  CHANGE THE PHONE SETTINGS TO BLOCK THE NUMBER AND BE DONE WITH IT!! These idiots call me repeated on my cell phone, which is prepaid, so it's costing me every time. I called them from my home phone and cell phone, as a courtesy. The second time I called THEY HUNG UP ON ME!!!!!
