Got a call from Marsha Adams from this no. 6788313426 last month (June 2012), unfortunately I already payed $300 :( .They have so much tactics to make people really believe that they're for real, they even send you a fax which has the company name and address.Thank God I found these reports, atleast I don't have to waste more money which I struggling worked for. I'm not gonna answer any unknown no. From now on and will never trust anybody. :( Thanks for all the reports. They'll get their KARMA pretty soon.

Wow...this happen to me today too! I received a phone call today stating, it was in my best interest to call her back within 24 hrs to discuss a matter she is looking into through her investigation dept., and for me to be sure to have my attorney info as well. I recently did a credit report check on myself, and it shows all accounts to have been settled. No where does DS Mediation appear. Then again, she never mentioned anything about an account, just a matter at hand that needed my upmost attention.
Her name was Riley Kilpatrick, and the phone number was 678-831-3419, DS Mediation out of Georgia. Just a note, most Kilpatrick's I know are of Irish decendants. This person was NOT.

I received a call on Friday from a Riley Kilpatrick.The number she called from was 678-831-3419 and supposedly from DS Mediation. She went on to say I had received a payday loan on line and they were going to file charges, which could be up to $8000 in court and attorney fees. Of course I was a little nervous but I told her I don't owe anyone I filed bankruptcy. She than told me that would cover this debt, which she was going to help me out by working out a payment plan with $200 would hold it but she needed my debit info. Than I was to make 8 payments of $150 or so.? Me scared and not thinking gave her my debit info?? but over the weekend I started thinking about all the scams going on and called the bank to cancel my card and explain what was going on. I also blocked her number, in which she couldn't call me so she in turn called me today from another number. Now on Friday she was this nice God-fearing woman but today she had an attitude. I guess because I was inquiring too much. I asked why I haven't received their info and she said it shows where I received it. That was a lie, anytime I get an email it comes to my phone and email, didnot happen. She gave me the name today which I believe it's the name to another company they claiming to be? I am so sick of people harrassing me with this scam mess. When does it stop????

We also received a call less than a year ago from a collection agency about the same past due account. They wanted use to settle right than and there. We were stupid didnt ask for any thing from them in writting or any thing really. We go to pay the $2000 or so and the bank account number I triple checked with him over the phone was a bad number and the people at the bank said it was probably a scam. We recieved one angry call their money wasnt in the account and than nothing for 9 months.  Dont remember the offices name or number but since we gave them alllllllll our personal info (of which nothing has changed since) why would the next people to call have to call her parents to get a hold of us...  Im wondering if this all connects to Data Systems Mediation..

I have received similar calls from and asked for information in writing. I dont know what number they used when calling me. I am getting so many different names for this collection agency. Data Systems Receivables (a long with an address and fax #) was at the top of the letter they sent us. They said in the letter I could contact Marsha Adams at 678-831-3426. Same letter they want me to "authorize the payment processor the Josephus Group to electronically debit my account" and under that they list Katherine Richards, Data Systems Mediation and phone #877-275-9141.  I ran the name that was at the top of the letter through search engines, the bbb and collection agency listings and didnt find any thing tell just looking up the address, thats when I came across another name... Spectrum Receivables, LLC. Which name is real? Seems like a scam

This number 678-831-3428 is fraudulent at best.
They should not be calling and fishing for any personal information.
I have no debts and surely no uncollected debts. They are unprofessional
criminals.. Don't deal with them and don't give out any information. Not your name
, not your address and not your social security, drivers license,.. nada...nada..

Yes, I agree with all of this. I have received several calls from these people and I have spoken to a Nicole Taylor or Traylor & Darsha or Marsha Adams. These two babbling idiots didn't even know that I have them both on recording of which I have played to my attorney as well as the Attorney General and the FTC. A the voicemails that these people are leaving is a direct violation of FDCPA. I have saved and recorded each voicemail along with each phone conversation from this office. So have I been served no, but you will be soon, court processors I doubt it. Whoever is running this place and apparently coaching these idiots to do this apparently either does not know much or doesn't care they are saying the same things over and over again. Oh & by the way Mrs. Taylor or Traylor dont you guys know that every attorney has a bar # associated with the names that you give which I know are fake because I have been given a different attorney on different conversations. Don't waist your time calling because this bill or case is on you guys. Thank you for your ignorance.

I received a call from number 678-831-3425 from Tracey Scott stating she was calling from DS Mediation trying to collect on a payday loan from 2006 that had a balance of $2600.00, she harrased me saying they would take me to criminal & civil court. she said they where not a debt collector but a mediator that the original lender had hired to come to a payment agreement. she could not give me the information of the payday loan company. just kept harrasing that they would take me to court

IT'S A SCAM! When my husband called "Emily" back she had said that there was a debt collection matter that they would like to help him with. What they didn't know was that he had settled that debt in full about a year ago & had the receipt to prove it!

"Emily" called today re an "important claim" filed with my SS #.  Didn't address me by my name nor did she identify her company. Will ignore this call as suspected spam.

Got a call from 678-831-3428.  Idiot left a message.  Her name was Emily.  She said that she had some vague "important" issue that she needed to talk about with me.  After reading the posts of everybody else, I will NOT call these scumbags back.

Go to creditinfocenter.com for good advice on this issue. I'm not connected to them in any way. Just found it to be a good site with lots of info on dealing with debt collectors including how to make them stop calling you.

I don't think they are a debt collector... the guy that called our work line (asked to speak with a manager of our buisness) said he wanted infomation on important financial documents, when I asked for more information like his company, he hung up on me. Not a legit company! Do NOT give out any information to this person! Get their name, number and company info and tell them you'll call them back... they will just hang up on you!

I got three calls this morning from phone number 678-831-3428/3416. A Tom Boston left a message with Ext. 1001 and a file number two different ones on two different messages. He said it was a legal matter and needed my signature right away. He said they are DSM (Data Systems Mediation) I googled and didn't find them anywhere. Most places that are debt collectors will tell you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that they are debt collectors. One message said he was a Senior Claims Advisor. Like Heather said if it's a debt show me the proff, otherwise I'm not giving you money!

I don't know for sure but I have a feeling that this is regarding a payday loan. I took one out 3 years ago and last year I started getting calls saying that I did not pay it in full and I was pretty sure that I had. I eventually paid one of the companies that were calling me but the calls never stopped form all sorts of places. Now I just wait for them to follow through on the threats to go to court.
I don't have the money to keep giving it to every random person that calls me and says that if I don't give them money then they will take me to court. It seems odd to me that they all call from different places that have never sent me anything and that I suddenly must have had at least 20 separate loans in order for all of these calls to be legit.
Come and get me and then we can let the courts prove that I have been wrongfully harassed for 1 and half years now. Then maybe I can sue. DON'T GIVE MONEY TO ANYONE THAT CALLS AND THREATENS YOU ESP WITHOUT HAVING RECEIVED ANYTHING IN WRITING ON YOUR SUPPOSED DEBT.

Just got a call from 678-831-3428, caller ID said unknown name.  Did not answer.  Besides that number I had 5 more numbers sofar today which I did not recognise, so I let it ring.  Hope these people will
give up after a while.  I am on the DO NOT CALL list (like so many others) but that just does not make a difference.

Yeah I got a call from this number also, stated they are from datasystem mediation but i called them back from another number and it says that this number is not taking calls.
