I got a call from 801-512-0357 they said I was entered into a $25,000 sweepstakes, and if I wanted to continue they transferred me, I answered a bunch of questions, and then it was giving option to get Home Depot,mtarget or walmart $100 gift card for just answering questions, an guy from India or somewhere said he wanted credit card number so that when my gift card arrived then they'd charge a $4.95 fee, I said no and that's my final decision and he hung up... Annoying, I just won't answer any more sales calls if I can differinciate the number.  If it's too easy and good to be true it is, if I'm going to win money it's easier to enter than all this... I'll just miss out if they want this stuff from me.

I got so mad after they started asking private information...ending up with "how large are your boobs?" I told him I'll sue him...

my caller ID says Jonesboro, GA...they just hang up when they get my answering machine. That no-call list is actually pretty worthless considering the number of annoyance calls I get every week. Sometimes as many as 2-3 a day. I have reported several of the numbers, but they still call me.

I keep getting phone calls from these people, SAME PEOPLe and when you tell them to stop, they call you from another number but keep doing it, even from the same number.  I just scream in their ear now.  They are rude, SCAM ARTISTS and I want them INVESTIGATED for ripping people off.  WHY isn't something done about this?  It's been over a year now!  If they were local I'd show up at their address.

stupid telemarketers keep calling me

This kind of call is not unusual.  There's a rape culture in India and a lot of these scammers will make suggestive remarks to young women they happen to be talking to about some non-related scam.   Many Indian scammers deliberately target young women or single mothers.

Claimed it was a Wal-Mart / Target gift card. Hung up, more than like ya scam.

This number keeps calling me.  Asking me:  Am I going to retire in June when you reach 65 is that right?  NOT! He says he is calling about medicare education or something. They also call from another number with the same story 321-123-4321.  They obviously can route calls without showing the true number they are calling from.  So be aware they are scam artists of the worst kind.  I also got a call from someone who said I owed a debt to Chase Manhattan bank I needed to verify my identity before they would tell me what the call was all about.  Well too bad for them I don't have a debt with Chase.  

got call today. Lady said she is from Solar USA. She asked how I am today and I said fine thanks and then hung up.

i was'nt home but they tried to get information from my mother.

I answered, cause im and idiot. Said hello, robot lady said good bye. Then dead air.

I answered "hello?, he replied "hello?", "yes?" I asked, "can I speak to the homeowner?" he asked, "No" I answered and hung up. Should not have picked up in the first place. Lesson learned again. Then to come to this site and see 8-pages. Yep, should have known and just ignored the call.

This number calls my house every day and I have stopped answering. Now that I have stopped answering it seems to have reduced the # of calls.  So far this is day #2 without a call. I will keep praying it stops.

They call all the time, even late at night and no one is on the phone.  I signed up for block calls but still get this number calling me.  Please help

      Three calls from this number 678-833-9357 within 24 hours. I answered all three calls  the first two I heard a number of clicks then a dial tone, the third call number of clicks I was about to hang up when I heard a person on the line. He started to talk about auto care when I asked him if he knew what the National No Call list is, next thing I heard was a dial tone. GET A LIFE YOU JERKS, or BETTER YET GET A REAL JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

have had repeated nearly daily phone calls to my cell. say they are selling diabetes supplies.  recognize a few diff. voices but don't always answer, have tried being pleasant but they want to ask questions, not give, have been firm, angry, rude - they keep calling
I've been getting a rash of these calls from about a dozen different #'s.
We are blocking the worst of them but we can only block 5.  I think if we're being harrassed on a cell phone we should be able to block as many as we need to

They called on a Saturday, which is against the law. I do not pick up due to the fact that I have gotten to know numbers like these as telemarketers and scammers. Since the Federal gov't 's FTC are eunuchs and can't do their jobs. It is up to each and every one of us to stop it ourselves by not answering the phone. When they cannot make money on us it will stop.

1. Don't answer
2. Tell your friends and family don't answer  
3. Let the elder know about this and show them on their phonies about how a telemarketer's number looks like on caller ID
4. File a complaint with the FTC Do not call registry
5. Get caller ID if you don't have it.

I do believe that these obnoxious and illegal calls are one of the causes of giving-up of landlines in homes.

They just keep calling. Several times a day. I don't answer but they still keep calling. So annoying!

We do not answer calls from numbers we don't recognize. If they don't leave a message identifying themselves as legit callers, we just mark the number as "junk" and ignore future calls. It's about time that something is done about all these bogus callers.

Had a call and could not understand wth they said, I hung up.

They have been calling our home for the past month, every time we answer, there is no reply. I just finished a telephone call with one of their people right now, as everyone else is saying it's essentially a telemarketer. The gentleman on the phone, who had an Indian or Pakistani accent asked for my mother name and I lied and told them that there was no one by that name that lived here. Thankfully he believed me and then he tried to pull me in by saying that I have a lovely voice and asked for my age, I lied and told him I was 16, thinking that maybe he'd end it but he didn't. He proceeded to tell me that he was 15, single, and had a steady job, he then asked me if I was single or attached and I told him that it wasn't any of his business he replied by saying "Oh, but it is my business." I told him never to call my number again and he hung up the phone. Hopefully they don't call again, but I'm pretty sure that if he wasn't going to sell me something, he was definitely going to try and be my catfish. However, if he/they call again, then I want to see where it goes and give them a taste of their own medicine!!

They have been calling me the last couple of days and I get at least 2 calls a day. I don't answer numbers that don't know. I just called back and got the "walmart/Target gift card redemption line". I pressed 1 and waited. A man answered in decent English. I told him that I had received several calls in the last few days and wanted to know how they got my name. He said that I probably filled out an online survey somewhere. I told him no, I hadn't. He asked for my name and I told him that I didn't want his gift card, just for the calls to stop and he said that they would take me off the list. We shall see. Can't help but wonder what would have happened if I had given him fake name, what other information he would have asked for.
