Shes back at it I guess. Knew nothing could actually be wrong but she was very unprofessional and I could tell. Still makes me angry knowing she was trying to scam me. It was a different phone number but I got a call and a man from a feed company was asking for directions... few seconds later the same number called and it was Felicia White. I dont understand...Craziness , Figured she'd be caught by now or unable to make these calls.

Yes, this IS crazy - that you believed you could successfully shill here without being caught.

"You failed" - yes, you did.
"No morals" - yes, that does describe you accurately.

Go away, shill.

Wow this is crazy!!! I too spoke with MsWhite and she was the most polite and knowledgable "debt collector" I've ever delt with!! Not only did she settle my balance for less than was owed, she sent me a release letter AND walked me step by step in getting this REMOVED from my CREDIT which is far more than I can say about any other "collection firm"!! Now I'm able to apply for a medical loan to cover expenses for my sick wife. I guess everyone one here was just raised a little different than me. I was brought up by a God fearing woman that taught me you always pay back what you borrow or you failed... It's like people now at days would rather try to poke holes in the system to avoid their OWN FINANCIAL responsibilities!!!! Now I see it is true what they say about today's generations, they have no morals no sense of responsibility. I don't know why people just can't do the right thing? It's actually a crime to borrows without paying back and in some cases a felony. There is honestly no good people left in this world. Don't shoot the messenger, you'll only end up wounding yourself. GodBless

Suggest you first read up on your rights  and also about the fake debt collectors.  Most of the threads we see here are extortion scams..   You first need to determine if its a real agency or a fakeroo. The real agency's have to abide by the laws or they can be sued.  A real legal server does not call you before serving papers btw..   And they can get into trouble for not serving you properly also.  The scammers will never provide actual proof.. and in most cases, not even a legit address.

Ok so I did some research on this company CPU. They are not an actual lawfirm they are  a "collection agency" but they are backed by an attorney's office that's next door to them or something as the addresses are very close, this is how they are able to get judgements. They won't get me tho, I'm not paying back one cent!! I'm content with just changing my number often and switching jobs every couple of months so they can't garnish me, I suggest you guys do the same!!

Hey there, "christina ramos"
You are a classic shill.
Pretending to be barely functional in written English so that your barely literate potential marks will believe that you are ordinary po' folks just like them.

Liar, liar, pants on fire!

Sorry, I call BS.  You would receive USPS mail with dunning letters before you even got that far.  That would have been your cue to demand a debt validation letter (showing original creditor, amount owed, date of loan, date of last payment) proving you actually owed a debt and that they were legally able to collect said debt.

It is illegal for a company to call an alleged debtor and threaten them with a lawsuit.  So you got served a summons - from which court?  Did you show up at court?  If you did, did they produce proof that you even have a valid debt and that they could collect said debt?  You said you "kno(w) I never done anything wrong", so did you have a valid debt or not?  What is the company's name, address and phone number?  You also can't be garnished more than 25% of each paycheck.

Debt Collector
This company is a debt collector - not a law firm. Help others fight this company by filing a complaint with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission), the Attorney General's Office, and the Better Business Bureau.

The Federal Trade Commission works for consumers to prevent fraudulent, deceptive, and unfair business practices and to provide information to help spot, stop, and avoid them. To file a complaint in English or Spanish, visit the FTC's online Complaint Assistant or call
1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357).

File as many complaints as you can against CPU Management and Account Receivables. They are based in Georgia. Mrs. Hilliard and any who call from this company are breaking the law. Report them to the FTC and your local Attorney General's Office immediately.

They are breaking the law with threatening phone calls, making false statements that they are a law office, making harassing phone calls to your place of employment, etc. Fight back and complain. Pass this info on to as many sites as you can. Thank you.

I got a similar call from the same number earlier today. Felicia White left me a voicemail stating felony proceedings were being brought against me, and myself or my lawyer should call back. Initially this caused me some distress, but after letting it sink in, I realized there was no way the legal process would allow for someone to first find out about something so serious via a voicemail from a stranger 8 states away, at which point I became enraged. I called back to give Felicia a piece of my mind, but alas, there was no answer. However, I was greeted by a semi-automated message telling me "Ms. White" - a highly professional title for a paralegal or attorney - was not there. I plan on calling back tomorrow.

I wondered if it was in fact a scam as I called asking for legit information on her company and never got a call back. She finally called me toda saying we have a "huge" problem. I bet we do, she didn't get to scam me out of 877 bucks like she thought she would.

Debt Collector
Got a call from someone named Felicia White on March 4 from CPU Management and Account Receivables, saying they had a debt from an old cell phone bill from 2007. Called back on the 5th and got a man on the phone, who informed me that T-Mobile had sent the bill to collecions and that notices were sent to an old address in Lawrenceville that I no longer live at and that no one no longer lives at (moved out years ago). He had my social, address, and home phone number, and said that I could either dispute the claim or pay the balance. I offered to pay and gave him my debit card number, he said a note would be made on my account and that it would be taken care of. Later on (yesterday) I received a call from Felicia again, who left a voice message saying she would no longer call or leave messages as I hadn't responded to her calls (though I had..). I left a message saying she needed to call me back as I had in fact "settled" this and set up a payment plan and she called back apologizing profusely, saying a note hadn't been made but that she had my paperwork and it would be taken care of on Friday (22nd). However, that night I talked with my mother and we both got a weird feeling about the calls and decided that perhaps this wasn't legit. I googled the company information and got nothing. She said they were part of the Axiom Law Group, but didn't see anything on their site. I've sinced called Axiom and left a message and an email about this, as well as called Felicia back. I'm going to ask she send me the documents for the claim as well as give me her company's website. I cancelled my debit card just in case and if necessary will close my checking account and open another.
