I work for MPI. Our job is to take your money. If not your money, then your mother's money, your grandmother's money, your daughter's money, etc. We don't care if we have to lie to you to get your money. It's true that we only give 15% or less to the charities we fund raise for. But who cares? They're not doing it so what the hell do you expect. I'm trying to get a new car, my girlfriend needs some new shoes, and I have to stay flossin on these darkies. I'm writing this while drunk so I don't care if you get mad and I run MPI so they'll never fire me.

We operate at 1919 University Ave. in St. Paul, MN if any of you want to come see me. I have goons that work for me that will beat you to a bloody pulp. Most of the people that work for us have criminal records, so you don't want to mess with us. We hire them to get a WOTC from the government. It really helps us save on payroll. I mean, I like some of those darkies, but they're just to dirty to ever truly be my friend. The truth is, if they don't make money for us, we get force them out. They are easily riled up, so all it takes is a little prodding to get them out the door.

Anyways, what we do is get a contract from some organization like the Florida Highway Patrol Command Association or the Nation Association of Chiefs of Police or a Breast Cancer Society. Cops are cool but they're broke so they'll take anything they can get in terms of funding. Breast Cancer people are the same way, they're just so desperate for money that they allow us to fundraise for them. If communities were more involved in fundraising for these organizations, they wouldn't turn to us. We give them 15% or less of everything we raise and our pledges start at $75, $50, or $35. We like to target the elderly, disabled, and retired because we just can't get enough of those government checks. They put a nice chain on my neck and the bi****s love me. I love talking an old lady out of her social security check, it just brightens my day.

This old lady I talked to once gave me a sob story about how her husband had just died and that she was going through a foreclosure. Cry me a river. I guilt tripped her about the lives that would be lost and the children that would suffer if she didn't donate to us. She ended up pledging $100, thanks to my charm. I love MPI, I get paid and there is nothing you losers can do to stop it. Quit complaining and let me get money. I understand that alot of you don't like giving money to darkies, to be honest they only get paid $8/hour. I get paid way more than that so you're not giving all of your money to darkies, you're giving most of it to a very handsome guy.

I got a call from this number this afternoon while I was at work, and they did leave a message. It was someone named Carolyn B. calling from "the offices of Thomas & Williams" and looking for a man who used to live in my apartment complex. She claimed she'd been given my phone number as a "message phone" for this man. I've never even MET him - he moved out about a month after I moved in. I saw his name on a letter once, which is how I even knew he'd lived in the complex.

We were not allowed to leave massages on answering machines, we don't hang up your call is just rescheduled for another time. So I you want the calls to stop not answering is only insuring you'll get a call the next day.
The amount donated does range from 10% to 20% so no it's not high but just an FYI for those who get the calls from the girls calling for Brest cancer, Susan g komen uses 90% of their profit to sue other breast cancer companies.
You may not like it but they are exempt from the federal do not call list. All you have to do is ask to be placed on their list and any sales rep  be glad to do it....
And just saying all the callers do is try to make a living. Everyone needs a job, and they may hire people other people may not but when something goes wrong you can lose your job fast.
It's not horrible and seriously people its not killing you to get these calls so settle down

Not to say any names or call center locations, but I know for a fact that an under 18 employee at one call center location is the highest selling salesman in the entire office.

How else are not profit organizations supposed to raise their funds?  They could blind mail everyone and lose a ton of money for mailing charges.  Or they could chose to call people first to verify commitment to save money, AND they don't pay for the services.  They receive more money with little to no effort.

This is not a scam.  If you know anything about professional fundraising organizations it takes an ungodly amount of money to run and fund.  Every single organization filed with MPI agrees to the percentage and is more than satisfied with what they receive.  Without their solicitations they wouldn't make a mere fractions of what MPI brings in for them.  And all calls are recorded and monitored, so if what you claim is true, then you should be able to provide proof.  No one is getting ripped off or "scammed."  All the information is available to you.  People should not complain about how a fundraising company took the majority of their donation, when they didn't even ask for a percentage disclosure!  How can you send money out of ignorance, and then attempt to dishonor the name of people that do good work?

Midwest Publishing works with only non-profit organizations.  The national "Do Not Call List" was created by the Federal Trade Commission.  However, The FTC is sensitive to the good work of non profit organizations, therefore non profit solicitations are exempt from the list.  You can always request to be removed from their list, but it will only remove your mailing address from that particular list.  If these things really bother you, privacy manager or call intercept is always available from most phone companies to ensure you don't receive these calls.

The do not call list does not apply to charities survey research firms or political calling. You need to do your homework about the do not call list and just not assume that you are on a so called list.

I CALL (440) 885-8250 AND A WOMAN ANSWERED "MPI".  I TOLD HER THAT I WANTED THEM TO STOP CALLING ME IMMEDIATELY AND THAT I HAD ALREADY CONTACTED THE FTC AND THAT I WOULD HIRE A LAWYER IF NECESSARY TO SUE THEM FOR NUISAANCE CALLS.  SHE SAID, "THAT WILL NOT BE NESESSARY AT ALL."  SHE ASKED ME FOR MY NUMBER AND THAN ASKED IF I WAS THE CERTAIN PERSON (MY NAME) THEY WERE CALLING.  I SAID YES.  SHE SAID THE CALLS WOULD STOP IMMEDIATELY.  WE SHALL SEE.  THE NEXT TIME THEY CALL -- I WILL START A CLASS ACTION SUIT.

I used to work for the york rd. office they do hire felons, and underage kids to work supposedly to raise funds for civic and non-profit groups it is my finding that it is the groups who get together with M.P.I and they work out a price for service the percentage that goes to a cause at the lowest is 10% the highest being 21%. It truly is a scam they send out a decal that says it has a $300.00 or a $250.00 bounty for anyone who destroys your property I was told by a executive that no one ever receives that benifit. I worked there for 3 years employee names are a***ole Ken Zoloty (the drunk Manager) (Mike Jenks) Lead Manager and the midget d****ead Shane Patton (Fake Manager) Dick Rider! the # is (440) 885-8250(Parma,OH Office.) prank those f****rs they hate it when people do it they scold the young sales reps and blame them.

it is true that 85-90% of money donated thru mpi stays at mpi, but they aren't stealing, the charities are fine with this, they pay nothing for mpi's services and get their 10 or 15 percent just for existing. mpi foots the bill for everything and all of their solicitors are supposed to disclose this if any one asks about how much money actually makes it to the charity in question. it's not really a scam, but anyone who knows this is undoubtedly going to chose to donate directly if at all. i'm not saying what they do is right, but anyone who just donates money without question when someone calls their phone can't expect anything better, and should expect much worse.

if you have any more questions about mpi i'd be glad to answer as i'm currently working at one of their call centers

p.s. as for them hiring minors and felons i think they're doing a great service, there's not a lot of job opportunities for those groups of people, and everyone today needs a job, regardless of their youthfulness or past history, don't look down on it just because its something you wouldn't do
