So you gave a total stranger the keys to your funding source because they said you owed something and put a scare into you? And you never challenged this? Prepare to watch them come back to the trough over and again until you are bankrupt. They'll shrug and say, "What payments? What agreement? What's your name again?"
People, even if you quietly agree with some debt claim from out of the blue, DO NOT trust any debt collector to serve your interests or satisfy the original creditor. Make the industry regs your friend, namely the FDCPA. Demand proof first, do not talk settlement with any firm which is so prone to break laws and drain assets.

This company claimed to be collecting a debt and did so through my bank account with my permission to get it taken care of so that I would not be in trouble. Now trying to get ahold of them to get receipt and an e-mail of confirmation and can't seem to get ahold of the lady whom gave me her "personal number". This must be a joke.
