all of the posts here say it's medical, however, I have no outstanding bills. sounds like I'm in for a good time.  had a scammer call yesterday so I think I'm just coming up on everyone's auto dialer lately.

These cats will try anything. They first call from a land line and then use cell phones. My order of business is this. You call from a number I don't recognize and not leave a message, that is assurity that you will not get a return call from me.

so I keep getting calls from this no. I callback it sys please hold. so I called back one day and talk to a supervisor said
his name was cole or fori or something could not understand him. he was so rude and I tried to explain to him that I did not want any more calls to my no. then he start screaming at me some black man I think he hates white females from the way he talk to me. hatecrimes are against the law. all I wanted was my no removed. guess I will have to put it in writing to make them stop calling my cell phone. they keep calling for a nancy smith. I don't know a nancy smith.

I called back and immediately a recording picks up "all reps are busy please hold"  I hold then it rings and hangs up!  Hollis Cobb is the name on my caller ID.

Bill collector calling me in regards to a $40 Medical Specialists co-pay. It is a co-pay. When have anyone been seen by a Doctor without them collecting the Co-pay first? I told them I am not paying, I responded to their notices that I paid the co-pay, even showed them a copy of the Medical Receipt, but they don't care. They won't call any more because they have just been blocked.

We get 2 - 3 calls daily, with only a message.  They even call as early as 8:00 a.m.  I thought there were limited calling times for these people.

It's a collection agency for the patients bureau... They have been calling me everyday for the last couple months. I figured it was reguarding my visit to the hospital, so I tried to call back, but it has a recorded message that asks you to wait for the next available representative, but then hangs up on you.

This number called my phone multiple times! I have asked REPEATEDLY to put me on the DO NOT CALL LIST! THEY POINT BLANK SAID NO....I WANT TO KNOW WHO TO CONTACT TO SUE THEM.

I got calls from them regarding my daughter's medical bills. I had been paying every month toward the bills, but I guess it is not enough for the hospital. So, they sent it to collections. It's not like I make a lot of money. I told them that. I barely make ends meet, yet I have tried paying these bills.

Didn't find them registered with the sec of state.

This number is calling me at work at 770-424-8804

I am sure this is a legitimate call from a medical accounts collector, I have several unpaid bills for my recent breast cancer treatments.  I have no extra money to pay them anything right now, so I won't answer their calls until I do.

Called my cell phone looking for someone else.

Why am I geting this call? They dont identify themselves which is very unprofessional or even identify my name!!!!!!!!!

Numerous call, no message left on VMS.

They called my home and are looking for someone who doesn't even live here. They called again, now when I called back tp tell them to knock it off... I get a recording that says the number is no longer in service, they just called me 6 hours ago. WHATS UP WITH THAT.

Well mr.bill collector it's not a stall tactic it's a legal right and described by the FDCA as something you have to provide upon request of the debtor, there may lie your company's issues with collecting legitimate claims .

Calling 7-9 times a day is against the FDCA some phone company's (if asked) can provide you with those records which would give you legal recourse against these debt collectors especially if your not the recipient of the claim .

When you have the pleasure to talk to one of these bottom feeders start your conversation with "I'm informing you that I am recording this phone call for legal purposes and possible legal recourse you don't have to agree but merely be informed" most will immediately hang up, but before they do fit in the fact that your phone company is sending you detailed phones records upon your request, you'd be amazed once they are confronted with someone hunting legal resolve how many choose to sell the debt to the next bottom feeder .

I do not owe any one money but for the past few days I have gotten a call from this company they never leave a message and when I answer they hang up. How am I to know what they are callling about if I cannot get ne one on the phone?

They have 50 reporst files on them so far but since they are not seeking BBB accredidation they dont care!

It is a collection agency. I recieved a call and message at work. I called them back and was told it was about a hospital bill. So I told them I need to verify that with the hospital as I only use one. They did get a little irriatated with me saying "they are just going to send you back to me" I said that is fine and if so I will gladly call back. We hung up. I verified with the hospital and sure enough I forgot about a bill but it was only a month later and the hospital sold the debt to them. Anyway I called back and  paid the bill, documented my phone call, time date, person. Got my confirmation number and put it on a credit card to be easily traced/protected. It cost $5 to pay on a credit card but I wasn't going to give them my checking acocunt info. Awaiting the letter that states the debt is paid. End of story. No dings on my credit or anything.

My husband had a recent stay in a hospital. All the bills ARE PAID and this company is calling MY PHONE not his.
This agency is screwed up.

We have proof of all bills paid too.

Freaking idiots. Once someone pays the bill, remove them from the freaking system.
And we paid ours before every getting a call from this agency. So that confuses the hell out of me.
We've even talked to the doctors and hospital.
Freaking crazy.

For information to protect yourself go to : www.ftc.gov   Federal Trade Commission - Protecting Consumers
It will list all the Federal Laws about debt collectors and your rights.
It will list what is unlawful practice and for what behavior you have the right to sue.
Then go to your states Gov. Office of Consumer Affairs and find out what your state laws are
an if this agency is being watched by this office.
Document all calls, date time and what was said by both of you.  Any insurance payments that may have been paid.  If you can, send all payments with a letter and by signature received may and copy everything.
This will be your proof of payments and show that you are attempting to take care of the bill.  This will help identify if you are being bullied.
