They keep calling me about an appointment for a free estimate on window installation.  I have told them No, I am not interested at least 3 time.

Keep getting calls with no message all hours of the night.

Be glad they did show up. The man who came to our house would not leave, after 4 hours, and past our normal bedtime, we basically kicked him out. Never again.

door-to-door sales about free roof estimate. took contact info, which is how they have my number. wanted to get more than just contact info for me, but my wife's name, contact as well. told them that i've never been asked for all that info before for a free estimate, they said it was a courtesy to the other member...told them i wasn't comfortable with giving them that, they would not agree to free estimate appt because i wouldn't give them the add'l info...now they won't stop calling me.

I also started getting calls from this number. Some dubious persons supposedly working for this company was  in our neighborhood , Our HOA members confronted them and they took off. It seems they may be looking for homes to burglarize

Power Home Remodeling. Their in-home estimates are "no obligation" but I think their game plan is "call them until they get sick of it and install our windows so we'll leave them alone." It's been a year since we made the mistake of letting them do an estimate and they STILL call regularly.

Suggest you call the local PD and also file reports on any calls you get from them.

Go to your local home improvement center and look in  the signs section for a "No Solicitors" sign and attach that to your front door.  If they ring the doorbell after that, I believe you can have them charged under local door-to-door sales ordinances.  Check with your local government offices.

This company has starnge men keep knocking on my door, every week.  Someone different with the same spiel.  A neighbor of yours had us replace their windows and now we are offering all the neighbors a free estimate.  Except no neighbor used them.  I am beginning to think they (POWER HOME IMPROVEMENT) are casing our neighborhood to figure out when folks are home.  WHY else would they have different salesmen coming by week after week trying to sell us windows?  No advantage to hitting same neighborhood every 4 to 5 days unless they are looking to see when everyone is home.  Then if they get your number, they are relentless in calling.

Yep, we had some guy come to our house yesterday.  I asked him for ID from the company he works for.  No ID, just a brochure, and has you talking to some person in Philadelphia taking your info.  wants an appointment for an estimate. FIRST RED FLAG: No ID!!!!  The SECOND RED FLAG is that that CONTRACTOR is located in ANOTHER STATE.  THIS is a problem.  You listen to Clark Howard or Dale Hardwell, and you will hear the same thing: STAY AWAY FROM THESE SITUATIONS, they are nothing but trouble. They take your money, start the work, pack up, leave town, and YOU are up the creek. The subcontractors can leave a lean on your house for a year. NOTHING BUT TROUBLE.

Honey remember those 2 guys who stopped you going to your car in the driveway and were nice and asked about free window estimates a month ago b/c out neighbors were getting them and recommended they stop by our house?  Remember how you told them we needed new windows too, so you gave them MY cell b/c I know about that stuff?   Thank you.

I checked and this number's Voice Message says it is a "Power Home Remodeling Group".  Not sure why they don't leave a message unless they know by my VMS that I'm a business too!!!

Somehow these people get access through Sears Parts, or ordering dept.  Sears needs to be advised by as many people as possible.

I actually cancelled my appointment with them because they had to force me to embarrass my girlfriend who is not on title with me by telling them that she did not have a say in the matter.  I guess they don't know what CANCEL means.

Very persistent and when you do set an appointment they can not keep to the schedules time. Big waste of my very limited time. No good!!!!!!!

It's a Window Company calling to give you a free estimate to replace the windows in your home.

I'd be very suspicious of people going door to door offering free estimates!!

2 guys knocked on my door  and said someone in the neighborhood was getting windows installed and if i wanted a free estimate.  I asked which neighbor (I know them all).   and they said they weren't the actual  installers.  Then i asked which street.  finally they told me they are marketing company that can go within 5 miles of the installation.  Well, 10's of thousands of people live within 5 miles of me.   Told them that this Monday or Tuesday would be good to call.  instead a week and half go by.

We made an appt with this company then they did not show up.  They continued to call, and never stated who they were, what they wanted or provide a contact name.  After I called them today because I have caller ID and requested to be removed from their phone system. I received yet an other call from their PA office at 610-874-5000.  I have now escalated this complaint to BJ's Corporate so they can determine why this company is claiming to be one of their installation providers.  Buyer beware.

I had the same experience. A nice man spoke with me while I was working in my yard. I gave my info for their "free estimate." I cancelled because my schedule changed. They have been calling me on a regular basis now even after I've told them I'm not interested and I will call if I change my mind. It makes me wonder why they want to get into my house soo badly...

These people came up while I was working in the yard and the gentleman who I talked to was extremely nice and I said sure I'd like a free estimate.  I talked with someone on the phone and they signed me up for the next day.  An hour later I get a robocall asking me to confirm, I thought that was really odd as I HAD JUST TALKED TO THEM THE PREVIOUS HOUR.  Needless to say the next day they called 6 times during work.  I called back once and it was just a auto-attendant at the other end so I hung up.  I eventually got someone on the line and canceled as it was very fishy.
