I have gotten 2 calls at my mother's house using a married name that I have not had in 16 years.  Said I had a order of protection against me both from states I have never been to and the other number was different it was 617-600-4177 from WaterTown Mass.  Is there anything that can be done to stop it?

Calls late at night and hangs up. I'm sure the FCC will stop this Ha Ha

Did you all bother to see where this number is called from.  This is a cell phone listed in West Virginia.  Maybe we all should report this to the phone company and file a class action suit against the phone company that let them have these phones to harass people.

I got a call from this number, I attempted to get more information but the line got disconnect. I called back and the voicemail was full. I going to attempt to block the number so they can no longer call.

We just received another call from them.  They have been calling here for several weeks.  How the heck did they get our phone number?  I did try to call them back and all I got was music - no live person.  I refused to sit on the phone and wait for them.  I am going to turn them over to the Attorney General.  Thanks everyone for their comments about these scuzzy people.

I got the same call. they left a voicemail. and all the statement u guys just said was also the same as mine. so i think this call is a FRAUD, a FAKE. trying to scare you and call them as soon as possible. they left a case no.# and a phone # to call. this is a setup. please dont call them.

Ive been getting calls /v.messages from them . V.m.message from "Civil Investigation Unit" regarding a civil comaint/restraining order with a case#. .. they never leave a name/call back #/ext.#. I called the#back a few days ago and an operator answered , then she put me on hold for 35 minutes so I hung up...b

They called me and left a message so I called back and someone answered and she said that  a bank was suing me and she said that she needed me to send her my info so I contacted my lawyer and said it was a scam! Well I tried calling back on more time to show my friend what the message would say and that it was full then someone actually answered I asked for her name she said it was Channel Smith  and the company name was Authorized Processor in West Virginia. I then asked for the address so my lawyer could contact her and she wouldn't give it to me and she kept asking me why and if I have been served papers that she didn't have my new address but they had my brand new phone I just got. DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!!!!!!!!!

I GOT THE SAME MESSAGE AND I ACTUALLY DID OWE THIS COMPANY. I GOT THE PAPERWORK IT WAS A LITTLE LATE BUT I GOT IT. IT WAS OFF MY CREDIT REPORT IN 30 DAYS. SO DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING ON THE INTERNET.
