You guys should take better care of where you put your number.... and also look at the laws, The National Do Not Call list ONLY!!!! applies to solicitors (people who are trying to SELL something) this does not apply to credit card companies who are willing to take your debt so you don't get flooded by late fees. Also if you have your number ANYWHERE (this includes Facebook and Myspace)companies can use those number, because you gave it to the public. Any company can call ANY NUMBER up until 9:30 Your time (or time of where the phone is registered) as many times as they want. Cell Phones must be dialed manually, but can still be called. IF YOU WANT THEM TO STOP DO THESE!!!! 1-do not put your number anywhere unless you know who you are giving it to 2- simply tell the company that you want them to put you on there do not call list 3- be polite (the last one is the most important) If you want to complain then find some thing else to complain about phone banks employ 15% of america. At a time where jobs are scarce, and that is a good thing.

Got a call from this number just now.  Apparently the scammer's been on a roll today.

I got this call yesterday in the middle of a lecture.  I called it back and it went to a full mailbox.

Just got this call on my Verizon cell phone.  No message left. Did not call back.

This number called me earlier today, but I dont answer phone #'s I dont recognize, and they didnt leave a voicemail. I tried to research who it was, and found my way to this site. Glad I didnt answer it.

I got a call from this number on my mobile phone.  The recorded voice identified them as "Credit Card Services", and stated that there were no problems with my credit card, however if I acted now, I could get my interest rate lowered to 6.xxx percent, or some such nonsense.  It told me that the opportunity would expire very soon, and that I should press "1" to speak to an account representative or some other digit to be taken off the call list.  Having had problems with these calls in the past, I did not try the "take me off your list" number, I just hung up.

Question - anybody who pressed 1 to talk to a person - did you actually manage to carry on a conversation, or could it be a message meant to sound like somebody real is answering, that just records whatever you say and hangs up? If that's how they're operating, well, it's creepy.

then again, maybe once they can tell somebody's not interested they hang up ASAP to move on to the next call. If you were bothered enough to arrive at this site, well, you probably sounded uninterested within the first few syllables.

rec'd call about lowering credit card rate, pressed 1 to speak with someone. "Kevin" answered the line and I said I didn't have a card with them and he hung up on me.

Called me on my cell phone 2/10. No message.

I got this call about an hour ago. No message. called the number back and it just said box full. kind of strange.

Received call from this number.  Said credit card was about to expire and we want to lower your interest rate.  Woman answered saying, "Card Services.  Would you like us to lower your interest rates on your credit card?"  I asked to take my number off their call list.  Was told by woman that they could not do this and was disconnected.

just got a call from this number on feb 10th - - low life losers -- cant law enforcement find them? ANNOYING!!

I received another call from them today it was "Rachel from credit card services offering me .   .   .)  You can press 1 to talk to an associate.  I pressed one and I asked them for a phone number where I could call them back because I was driving in traffic and the call was immediately terminated.

This number called BOTH of my connected cellphones (on shared plan) AT THE VERY SAME TIME.  Both phones rang... it was actually freaky!
Called it back from one number, and the voice mail was full.

Just got a call from this number on my cell phone....didn't answer it. Gald I didn't!!

Left no msg when calling, and when I called, I got an automated voice message saying they didn't receive incoming calls.

Jerks calling "about my credit card". Yea Rite! I get the same calls from other numbers so I think they must rotate outgoing numbers after they get blocked. Don't ever give anyone credit card info. and keep reporting the new numbers.

I've had the same call on my cell... did not answer.  No message in my voicemail.  Decided to track them down and found this site.  I think it's time cell phone companies make provisions so we can block numbers.  I think it should be required of the cell phone companies to automatically block these numbers across the board so they can't call any of their subscribers.  I saw a post that said they were going to their cell phone website to block the number... so at least one cell phone company is allowing customers to block unwanted calls. Why not ALL?

Yep, just got a call from them and didn't answer. Thankfully I have Google Voice on my cell phone so I can block them forever!

I got this call and didn't answer... went straight to a full voice mail box when I called back. I am so SICK of these calls. Got a similar call earlier today from another number. I pushed 1 to speak to a representative and it rang a bunch then just disconnected. I must mention that this is on a cell phone that is owned by the company I work for, not my own cell.

So glad I found this site. Got the same call today and I seen it was from the Ft. Worth Texas area. Now I know to just ignore it. Thanks!

Claims to be from "Card services" recorded message to lower interest rate. I would love to get their home number and call them 4 times a day. BTY- I dont even have a credit card so STOP CALLING ME!!!!!!!

got a call tonight from them saying that they were my "credit card company", never actually gave a name, and that they wanted to lower my interest rate and to press 1 to speak to a customer service rep.  i just hung up.

Last time I got a call from someone I didn't know, I told them I was the police department investigating a drive by shooting/murder.  Asked if they still wished to continue the conversation.  They hung up.

Should have done that when I received this phone call.
