I just got a call much the same as the one indicated by Rose above.  They called from two different numbers - this one and one from Jacksonville, FL.  Somebody should do something about these people.

Angela Smith was calling me about an online payday loan and wanted me to pay 400.00 a month until it was paid I told her I am a single mom and can not make a payment that much because of my other bills  she would not work with me to lower the payments.

I just gave these people $600 thinking I owed them money. Now i'm out $600. Sucks for me. It's better to give then receive.

I just got back from lunch and they left a message on my work voicemail. Very heavy thick accent and he kept clearing his throat.  He even paused when he tried to say officer Dell (or whatever he said) as if he was having trouble pronouncing it. He must have been reading from a piece of paper.  He said it was regarding a legal matter and that I needed to call him ASAP and to not disregard his message.  I couldn't even understand half of the crap he was saying. The call back number he gave was 803-712-4051. He said the company was Blank (not sure of first word) Investigation Authority or something like that.

Someone from this number called my sister saying he was officer Harris and left a message that he was calling regarding a legal matter and that she  needed to call officer Frank Harris for legal counsel Ron & Cosman (could not understand name of counsel for sure due to thick accent)

She called him back within a couple of hours and asked for Frank Harris (not officer Harris) He got on the phone and asked why she was calling.
She said "I am returning your call"
He asked again why se was calling.
She suggested that he should check his records as he had called her.
He went to "pull file"
He said that she was a reference for me -she said OK I asked why he was calling her and she said that she was aware of his false claims against me and that he should proceed with caution as I am seeking legal counsel.   she also suggested that he better never call me her with any type of threats to her personally or her job (as he indicated on his voice mail)   He was trying to scream over her...  Then he just hung up.

I received a call today from the same number above stating they are from THE BUREAU OF DECTECTIVES INVESTIGATION ........he stated that this is a legal matter and that I need to send money right away.....wpuld not give up any information just started yelling and screaming and I informed him if he did not stop calling me I was going to contact the police needless to say he called me three time threatening me......I am going to file a police report.

i been getting phone calls on my cell and my work phone from a office frank harris and he tells me i owe a payday loan from december 2008 and he will not give me any information saying that i am going to be arrested and lose everything and i need to get an attorney regarding this legal matter he also leaves this same number 6837260286  but when he calls the number that shows up is different 61725880005 today he phoned my job and talked to my supervisor that was the last straw my job got involved and we called the police and made a report

These calls are a scam wanting money.  I get calls from these highly accented people for about a week and then not for three weeks and then again.  They are a nuisance.  I have reported them to the FBI and to the local authorities.  They call, threaten, etc.....they call employers.  I even tried once to get a mailing address to "pay" but they only do Western Union to a private person.  These calls need to be stopped.

Officer Clapper has been harassing me for days and telling me he is coming to get me if I don't give him money.  He said he is going to call my boss and have me fired.  I have filed a police report and called homeland security.

I just received another call from this same guy. This time he said his name was Officer Charles Clapper( can we get anymore original?) This is like the 4th or 5th time in the last year that this same man calls and says I did not pay back a loan. Last time I really blasted him and I haven't heard a word till today. He is also calling my sister and saying she and here husband will be held libel if they don't convince me to pay up. I am so sick and tired of these people. Get a life and a job like the rest of us.

recieved a call from a man with an extremely think indian accent supposedly named "jesse brown." he left me a message saying that he was an officer of some sort and that i was the leading suspect in some case involving money. I couldnt understand most of the message, but he hinted at the fact that i was in big trouble if i didnt call back asap. later that day, i got a call from a friend saying that he recieved a very similiar message, saying that it was HIS resposibility to get me to call him or else both of us would be in trouble. not sure how this man got my friends number in connection with my name, but its a scam! i waiting for him to call me back because i have still not actually spoken to him, but im gunna have a free for all with him lol dont give him any kind of information or money!

They keep calling me and telling me that my husband took out a cash advance and didn't repay. Today they told me not only that, but also that he didn't return the completed paperwork when he recieved said cash advsnce. These people are liars, and when confronted with it they say "call back to tell us how you are going to pay by 5:30pm today or your husband will be arrested". If that was true, then they would have his email and cell numbers, not mine!

This man named Officer Ben Davis stated that he is from a collection debt of investigation. He states that i borrowed money from a compnay called cash advance and that i never paid them back. He stated that i need to giv him $545.43 over the phone to clear the matter up. He stated that if i do not pay then i will be taken to court and no one will be able to help me. I googled the number and a bunch of scams come up. I told the guy that i will report him to the FBI and he disconnected the call.

I have been receiving calls from the same number recently. The same man with the heavy accent states that i borrowed money from a company and that i did not pay them back. The company he is stating that i owe money to is called Cash Advance. I never borrowed money from them. He was asking for $545.43. I explained to him yesterday to take me to court. He stated that he wanted to give me a chance that he thinks i am a stand up guy and blah blah blah. I spoke to him this morning and we argued for a few mins. then i told him that i will be reporting him to the FBI and the local Police, he told me fine its your loss and disconnected the call. So beware and file that complaint and investigation with the Police and FBI.

These people have called me 4 times at work and 10 times to my cell. They say the same thing, 'officer' and 'pay now or we will pick you up'. I snagged him today, he was stating, that the other day 'someone else' talked to me and filed to get me picked up. I said to him, that he sounded exactly like the other man and i asked him where he was an officer. first, he said indiana, then pennslyvania. HHHHmmmm.... I'm filing complaints against them. I don't need the extra stress of dealing with these stupid people!!

This is what i have done.They will have a heavy Indian accent and can barley speak english. I like to have fun with them and call them on the weekends when there answering machine picks up and leave them harrasing messages like they do to me.I block my number and just fill there answering machine up with nasty messages.Its fun.

I just received another call from1-683-726-0286 saying I had until 11:00AM tomorrow to respond to their call.  The man had a heavy Indian accent, he referred to himself as "Officer"  stated I owed money and he would file against my Social Security number if I did not pay.

I do not know anything about this and will report to my attorney.

Just got a call from these scammers again... They seem to stop for awhile and then call back after several months.  Sure was funny to hear him stutter when I told him to contact my attorney.  Where is this area code anyway??

I rec'd the same calls...telling me if I did not pay them by 5:30pm (it was almost 7pm!!) that the police would be at my door to pick me up! I informed him that I would not fall victim to them again, as they did this to me once before for almost $1000.00!...and I had the bank stop the charges & investigate THEM!..the bank gave me back my money..and I did not hear from them again...until NOW. After the guy calling & threatening me 3 times, I told him that I had reported the number & his name to the police..and HE would be the one picked up...no more calls!!

Its a scam and they will not stop until YOU make them stop

Called a friend of mine leaving the area code 347 phone number. The call came from 683-726-0286. The man with a very thick Indian accent stated she was the only contact for my fiancee and she must return the call before something happened to him or even to her. He even stated he was an "officer". Did not state what kind but I think you can figure it was an implied police officer.

I just recieved a phone call from this number. I hung up as soon as I heard them answer. They called directly back twice more. The voice message that they left was tell me about some "legal investigation" that they have. I think these are the same people that I have attempted to call from many different numbers. I stop answering my phone. When I first got the calls. Becareful for anyone who gets these calls.

I don't know who these people are but they have to be a scam!!!! They called me on my cell phone from this number as I was leaving a call back message to them at 347-602-4543. They notified my ex boyfriend yesterday and said I took a $250.00 bank loan out and signed his name to it. When I called them back today, they told me he took a $250.00 loan out at Pay Day Loans and signed my name to it. I ask them for verification of a signature and they stated I already had that information. No, I do not have such information because neither my boyfriend or myself have taken any loans out. I later called and ask what their company name was and he said, "Is this regarding your bank loan?" I don't know who they are but I called the Federal Trade Commision and they said it was fraudulent and a scam and do not send any money to this company.

They called and left a message on my cell claiming that myself and a friend had a loan out between the two of us. The date for the loan is bogus because I didn't know my friend at the time. Do NOT send them anything or give out any info to them. Just tell them that you are reporting them to the FBI and Attorney General and hang up.

These are our favorite Indian collection agency.  Do not give any of your information.  threaten them with reporting them to all of our fedear laws.

harrasing me at work and on my cell phone..heavy accent, wishing me good luck if i don not pay up...it is the same people that have used 12 different numbers on me trying to tell me I owe them money, that have threatned me,harrased me to the point of calling me at work as much as 15 times in a row, I work for a fortune 500 company, and they put a trace on these terrosist and that is what they are..please do not give them any money or any satisfaction on talking to them,I have notified the police,in 4 different towns, they have even gone so far as to tell me to watch my back when I leave work...
