Same thing has been happening to me they have called me 11 times since  January 23, 2013.  They never leave a message..  I  tried calling them back, and it doesnt go through.   I finally asnwered them tonight.,  It was a lady with an indian accent, she said I have many fatal errors on my computer and she can help me fix them.  Asked me if I had access to a computer.  I told her no and to call tomorrow.  I hung up.  I know now from all the texts above it's a SCAM and I will report them.  Thanks everyone for the info!  It's scary out there!

I received a call and at first I was confused because I was just having problems with the computer but when he told me to go to my computer and he'd fix it, with his accent I told him I didn't understand him and he'll vehave to call back in a hour and talk to my husband. Five minutes later he calls again and asks for my husband. I said you have the same voice and this is a scam, he hung up. Therephone #'s as u know not working #'s. I wish they would speak english at least

I got calls from this number several times also. When I answered, it was hung up. It is a ghost number, so annoying. I am not going to answer this number any more.

got a call from 684-236-5238 today. This number has been trying to reach me a couple times this week. Area code is American Somoa.  Very persistant and stated my computer at my home address, which they rattled off, was sending in 1000's of errors and needed to be fixed ASAP.  Male with indian accent. Tried to convince they were working for microsoft to fix errors in the operating system and he could fix them if I was at my computer and went to the registry files....right now.   I looked up number on line and see same experiences in this blog. He claimed he worked for www.onlinepcexpert.com.  My business firewall web proxy won't even let me go to their site as it is black listed.  I am staying away. Seems like a scam to me. Went to my cell phone provider websites and blocked the number.

The guy was an Indian sounding person calling from what he said he was Disney something I couldn't understand him he wanted me to go to my computer so he could show me errors that my computer was sending him when I told him I didn't have a computer he hung up on me

Continually get calls from this number.  I never answer any calls that are not on my Contact List.  I will proceed to add this number on my reject list.

Definite scam.  Your computer does not send out messages about a virus that tech support companies can receive.  Microsoft is well aware of these scams which operate our of India, Africa, Pakistan and other thrid world areas and have been going on for a couple of years now.  See this article on Microsoft's website:

This is a fraud call, trying to make you think something is wrong with your computer. Male with accent, Indian.

I received the most disturbing phone call from this number, the rep identified his self as a windowns, microsoft employee, and he stated that the call was in regards of all the error they have received from my computer.

I have no idea how but he trick me unto believed that his call was legit, and I was naive enough to allowed him remote access to my computer, and when I finally realized that he was not a Microsoft Employee, I told him to log off my computer that's when I realized that he was hacking my computer, please be aware of this scam.

He was in my computer and when order to log off he delated my browser history and manage to click on someother stuff anable to determine how much damage4 he created.

They just want to get all your info and used it.

My phone has been ringing several times today where on answering there is not a sound on the other side. I wish they would stop. I too am on the national do not call list and I find this annoying.

I got a call from this number on my Cell phone on the 24 Jan 2013 and by the time I answered it the person hanged up.

i would like these calls to stop. they call at least 3-4 times a day.  I have asked that my name be taken off their list. this does not seam to work.  What else can I do ???

They call @ allhours and have asked for me by my full name the two times I actually answered.  The last time I answered I told them that if they were going to talk garbage that I wouldn't listen and they hung up. I just wish they'd stop. I'm sick and tired of it.

I've been getting these annoying calls for a few weeks, they do not leave a message, and if I answer they don't say anything until this last time when I yelled into the phone some very explicit language involving rectal actions and probably illegal machinations. The 684 area code is from American Samoa. I blocked it from my phone. Problem solved.

The number calls at least 3 times a day and either ask to speak with me, or hangs up.  Very annoying

I also received several calls today saying that there was a problem with my computer.... i informed him my computer was not on and he indicated he would call back when it was on..... it was disturbing that he knew my name and asked for me.   I will continue to refuse the calls from now on.

I have contacted the Attorney General of Oregon, via telephone, and the Federal Trade Commission about these people, and also called the media at KOIN 6 News in Portland, Oregon. If  you guys are having problems with these folks from Samoa, please help me get the word out to warn people. If more people will go with me on this, we can get somethin' done to stop these scammers!! Lets stand together, and gets these people shut down!! They should go to jail for being ignorant if ya ask me. The people you would be helping protect against this Crime, could be your own gramma and grampa, so they can't take their funds, or anythang else...Stand with me for justice!!

684-236-5238 has called my wife's phone on the average of 4 times a day for the last 3 weeks, the call goes directly to her voice mail and is connected for about 30 seconds.  I called our service provider, Virgin Mobil and they have blocked the number.

These idiots have been calling me 2-3 times a day....they will not stop calling when you tell them not to call again.....this is rediculous!!! Nohin wrong with my computer, its new for Pete sake!!!

These people have tried to contact me twice at work, tell me that I had something wrong with my computer at home..I have blocked this 684-236-5238 from my cel..

I get calls from 684 256 5328 & never answer but they still call. I get 10 calls a day from that number.it has to be a scam,don't answer or.give them any personal information.
