who is calling for 685-618-7675

Got a call from them on 4/22/14 at 9:19 am est..... I didn't answer but it cannot be called back... The area code is for Samoa... Weird

Got a call at 10:27.  Did not recognize number so didn't pick up.  No message.

No doubt in my mind that this is a scam!!! DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFO!

I got a phone call on my cell from this number on 4/22/2014 at 9:43 am EST, offering to lower my interest rate on my credit card. Funny thing is I use my land-line not my cell as a contact for all my credit cards so I was curious. It started with a recorded message to to press 1 to lower my rate. I pressed 1. Man came on and said they could lower my rate on my credit card. I asked which one? Response: Visa, Again I asked which one? He rattled off your Bank of America, Capital One or Chase. I said I have many credit cards, so which one? Response: the one with a $3200 balance. I said to him, none have that balance, I pay them off every month, so if you are showing a balance on any account with my name, then it's fraud.
CLICK he hung up.

I forgot to add that I tried call the number back and got a recording that it is not a working number.

I waited for the auto message to finish and someone to come on line. I was told I could lower my interest rate but needed to do it today.  I asked which card this was for and they said your Visa or MasterCard. I said I have a couple, which one and he quickly rambled off a few names. I did happen to have one of them and he asked for the last 4 digits for confirmation. When I told him I didn't  have the card with me he repeated me. I told him no, my cards were at home and I'm at work. Then he wanted me to get on line and log into my account for the numbers. I repeated I can't I'm at work, but you can give me your phone number and I will call you when I get home. He said he'd be happy to call me back and promptly hung up.  I emailed my credit card company.

Called me at 9:50 AM EST.  Did not answer and did not leave a message.  I did not call back since the area code did not register on my cell phone.  Crazy.

THIS IS A SCAM. They hang up after one ring so you"ll call back and get your phone bill charged.

I also received a call from this number thos morning. I didn't pick it up. Do not call registry is for telemarketers not scam artist.  Best bet is to not answer unknown callers and call them back if they leave a message.

Why would anyone tell anyone to hurry press anything? Just don't answer it instead is safer!

Just got a call as well at 10:37a - no message and when I called back my cell phone company said call cannot be completed as dialed...definite b.s. when I'm on the DNC list also...

Called me at 10:22 4/22 did not answer, no vm, googled number and ended up here.

Just received a call from this number but didn't recognize it checked here immediately. No message and I didn't answer never answer unrecognized numbers. Figure if it is something important they will leave a message. I also am on the DO NOT CALL LIST don't think it does any good at all.

Just had the same # call and it is a credit card scam of some sort with an automated system not specifying your credit card information. Thankful I am a prepaid customer now. I wonder if they can force someone to pay something without knowing.  I have been hearing of those type calls.

Received a call from this number on my cell phone at 0608 MT - Woke me up.  Thinking it was my alarm I swiped the OFF button.  

Just called my cellphone at 10:05 Eastern.  I answered.  Recording on the other end started off about my "credit" then line went dead.  I added them to my reject list.

"Credit card service. You can lower your rate to as low as 6.9%. Press one to transfer to a live person, or 2 to discontinue messages."  Hurry, press 2, or you will get these calls daily. And funny, I don't have a credit card.

Got a call from a 685 number this morning at 8:30AM central time. I was in the car and didn't have my reading glasses on, thought it was my husband so I answered it. A recording came on, a woman's voice saying they wanted to increase my credit card limit and to "press 1" to take advantage of the offer.
Yeah, right...
Hope I'm not going to be inundated with crap calls now.
Btw, my number is listed on the Do-Not-Call registry too, so obviously that doesn't prevent this garbage.

I actually answered this call, which I never do. Its an automated recording that says its regarding my credit card (does not specify which one or what account they are with), there is no problem with my account, but I have to speak with them urgently about getting a reduced rate, blah blah blah.... I'm on the do not call list for a reason, leave me the flock alone

I received a call from this number because I thought it may have been my sister who lives in Guayana, SA. It is a credit card scam. They ask you if you want a lower interest rate on your credit card. They call themselves credit card services. The only reason I answered it that my sister calls on Skype sometimes and it is always a different number and this number looked similar to the one she calls on. When I asked how they got my information they hung up.
