Listen up smart a**. Don't call me again or you will be sitting in a jail cell some where. I can't speak into recordings.

Unknown caller.  Keeps calling and doesn't leave a message.  

Eight calls in less than four hours! Thanks heavens for the call block function on my phone.

Calls every 14 minutes 'on the nose' repeatedly; for the past two days.

One time I picked up and it was 'dead silence' for ten second before it "dropped".

Very, very annoying.

I haven't attempted to dial them back with the *69 function. It probably wouldn't reveal anything.

Obviously, 701-000-0000 is a phony, made-up number. That's what always appears on my caller ID.

"Name Not Available".

Was receiving calls from this number numerous times in a day (sometimes 15 or so minutes apart).  Never left a message. Have blocked the number, so hopefully I won't receive anymore calls.  Really annoying.

Got about 20 calls from 701-000-0000 today. It comes to my home phone so I thought I could block it through my phone carrier but when I try it says the number is not a good number. There is no one on the other end. Any suggestions what else I might try?

For the past week we continue to get calls from 701-000-0000 upon answering they hang up...this is very harassing as my mother is ill and on oxygen.  We would disconnect except we need the phone for in case of emergency.

Please see about stopping this annoyance!

6 calls in less than an hour and a half to my mother, who has severe heart problems and anxiety. First time asked for my sister, then never spoke again. Wish there was a way to get these b*****ds. If something happens to mother because of this and we find out who's responsible, we WILL pursue legal actions.

This is making me very upset... getting a call from this number at least every 15 min.

I don't answer.  The caller leaves no message.  I am on the do not call list, but it is a big joke!

Got 16 calls today from this no. every 15 - 30 min. Called operator who said she's had over 50 calls today from customers throughout California complaining of the same thing.

These fools are calling every few minutes.

I keep receiving calls from this number, many times a day.  I finally used the "Add to Blocked list" option on my cell phone so that now it only rings once and no more.  I wonder if it isn't a method by which the cell phone companies use up your minutes so that you have to purchase more?

Something here....weird.

7 calls in 3 hrs

My husband and I have both been receiving calls from this number, same results (if you ignore, they keep calling, when you answer, no one's there). Very annoying. No idea how they got both of our separate cell phone numbers. Does anyone out there know how to stop this or block the number?

Got a call from them, didnt leave a msg. For the fun of it i tried to call back and nothing.

I don't answer 701-000-0000 but get calls from this number many times per day.  Also from 170-000-000.

7 calls in 2 days. Something about absentee voting.

numerous calls.. .. i dont answer them .. frustrating..

I just ignore it, although it is becoming increasingly annoying...4 calls yesterday, one today so far. I wonder who to talk to about stopping these calls since I really do not want to talk to whomever is on the other end!

3 calls last 2 days

This is not a political call. I have received 3 calls from this number today and they never leave a message and hang up when I answer.

This is a political call from Heidi Heitkamp's campaign requesting a $35 donation.

Call at 8:45 CDT; call went to VM - no message.

Called this morning around 10. Call went to voice mail. No message.

Got a call today from this no.  I have to say the man on the other end of the line was polite. He asked for a name of a family member who does not live in this house, so I told him no one by that name lived here...not a lie! ;)  He was very nice, but seemed like he wanted to have a conversation, so I said, "Ok, bye." and hung up.

I have gotten several calls from this number today. They don't leave a message. WHO IS THIS?!?!

Getting a call from this number for 3 days now... will not leave a message.  I agree - this is a spoofed number.
