i know that the cell providers sell their customers' information, sprint does at least. when my father purchased me my first cell phone through sprint, he had it under his name. so the bills came with his name and address. i have since moved to another house (i changed my address with sprint but never the name) and for a year now i have had a phone with verizon and to this day I STILL get junk mail from all kinds of companies at MY house with my dad's name and my address on it. if they sell names and addresses, i don't see why they wouldn't sell the numbers too. oh...and i still have the same phone number that i had with sprint. i can't believe i can't even get away from telemarketing calls on my cell. i don't think it will make any use to contact the cell company, they're the ones who gave the info out to begin with........

Just received a call this afternoon from the same number.  I have an Alltel prepaid phone in Tampa, FL.  It was a recording - Spanish speaking male - I hung up within a couple of seconds.

Just got a call at 1:46 pm in San Diego on a Cingular/ATT phone.  I did not answer it.

Received that call at 10:20 here in San Diego.  Did not answer.

I missed a call from 701-213-9989.  Looked it up and it said it was out of North Dakota.  They didn't leave a message.  Weird.

I received a call on August 1, 2007.  I believe these are the same people who used to call from another phone number in Kentucky. This one is in North Dakota. I reported them several times to the Do Not Call Registry since my cell phone is on the list. I also have Verizon Wireless. It seems most of the people registering here have Verizon. I say keep reporting it and send an e-amil to the attorney general in North Dakota.

I own a pre-paid TRACFONE.  I do not have a continual service contract like many of the others that I reporting this number.  I received a call from 701-213-9989 about a week ago and answered it.  The male voice started to speak in spanish and the only word I could make out was MEXICO and as soon as I heard that I immediately hung up.  I just received another call from this same number again today 8/2/07 but must have missed the call and my telephone saved the "MISSED CALL" with the number.  Now I go on-line to type in the number as it seems suspicious that the same number called my TRACFONE twice in a months time and I also received a telephone call to my home telephone almost simultaneously however I do not have caller ID so I can't say it was the same caller.  I will say this, I have heard through many sources that there are foreign people trying to call people here in the USA stating that their relatives there are ill and if they want further information please call a telephone number.  Once that person calls that number they are kept on the phone as long as possible until the person realizes that there is no medical emergency.  The next month your wireless bill comes in with a $1200-$2000.00 bill for a telephone call YOU MADE to a bogus number at $120.00/minute.  I have never experienced this since I have a pre-paid phone.

I got a call from this number at work and my co-workers and I were laughing about it cuz some of them speak spanish and it made no sense.

I received a call at 10:17 this morning did not bother to answer. This is my first time getting a call from this number.

This number just called me on my Sprint phone.  I did not answer and never will answer any unidentified number and waste my minutes or get caught in a scam.

I received this phone call three days ago. I did not pick it up and there was no voice mail left. I wanted to double check the number because I use my phone for business and I wanted to make sure I didn't miss an important phone call. My plan is with Cingular/AT&T, which is interesting since the previous comments seem to be showing a trend with Verizon. Kind of nerve racking. I will be double checking my cell phone bill
