They are scam artists saying that they can totally erase your debt if you owe over 10k. Just don't answer when they call, or you can choose to have a little fun with them and waste their time. But don't fall for their bullcrap :)

got a call from this number to "put on do not call list" .  Why did they call then in the first place ?.....To get money from me for calling back or did my cell phone get charged a big fee ?   SCAMMMMMM !

Recieved numerous automated calls from a "Debt Consolidation" company - once I answer, a recorded message comes on - asking me to "Press one" to speak with a representative. Finally, after many calls to my home, I listened, and pressed one - and asked them nicely to take me off their call list. The man who answered my call hung-up on me. So, I dialed *69 to reverse track the caller's number and got this one: 701-217-1012. Haven't they heard of the Federal "Do No Call" list? Jerks.

This number came up 'Fire Safety' and when I answered, it was a recorded message saying to Press 1 to update our free Google 411 listing.

Call is handed off 3 times, with hold music sounding like an am radio station.

I guess you guys didn't hear what I heard.  It was a political advertisement for supporting an amendment to the marriage amendment.  They wanted to allow homosexuals to marry.  I listened for the end of the call, but it just kept repeating.  I hung up.  What a scam.

This Fire Safety on the caller ID keeps calling numerous times a day stating they want to update my Google...I dont even know what Goodle is let alone have one. I am haveing my friend do this complaint for me. I dont even have a computer. Anyway, I am putting in a complaint for herassment.Their number is 701-217-1012. Please can someone help with the nonstop phone calls? Help!

I submitted a complaint with the FCC.  Pain in the a$$ to do, but gave me a little satisfaction.  They call my cell 2x per day.

They hang up on you when you ask them to be put on the do not call list. Report to the fcc by filing out the online form. http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

Google keeps calling me on my cell if they lived in my town I'd go pull the phone cord out of the wall.....this is harassment and psychological terrorism.......

I just don't answer when I don't recognize the phone number or area code.  The day I see a news report showing people "walking the plank" who have violated the "do not call list" is the day I'll trust and believe in the "do not call list"

I answered and they hung up... I own a business so I always answer when the phone rings, it's just weird that they hand up. It's the third time.

ACTUALLY, WHAT THEY ARE TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH IS MAKING OUTGOING CALLS FROM YOUR BUSINESS OR HOME PHONE,  BY DIALING "1" OR "0" YOU ARE UNKNOWINGLY GIVING THEM ACCESS TO MAKE LONG DISTANCE CALLS.  THIS HAPPENED TO A COMPANY I WORKED FOR SEVERAL YEARS AGO.  IT TURNED OUT TO BE A SCAM FROM HARRIS COUNTY JAIL.  WE WERE CHARGED SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS WHILE THE INMATES USED OUR LINE...

Being placed on THEIR do not call list can be expensive especially when you have over 200+ phone numbers of the same kind!  There ought to be a law!

You cannot call them back and you cannot get a human on the phone.  They should be sued
for harrassment.

I get a call every day mon-sat ---- 1 call a day---- this is not google, this is a scam 3rd party company trying to make money off of business owners. I REALLY HOPE THEY GET SHUT DOWN AND EVERYBODY NEEDS TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE FCC TO GET THAT STARTED

Keep getting calls from this number - No one is ever ont he other end.  Finally placed the number on my phone's "Reject List".

Call the number back, press 1 to place your number on the do-not-call list and get on with your lives.

unknown name ??? google updates my free listing???  I like others do not believe it.  Google themselves have called before and caller ID shows it as such.  Everyday this week so far I have hung up concerned about the validity of the call.

Someone from a (701) 217-1012 keeps calling, but when I answer the line it appears nobody is on the other end.  Some a***ole who doesn't have anything to do.  I wish there was a button to press and pull their ear drums out so they go deaf.

ID Said "Fire Safey" but recording said Google 411 directory.  Area code is North Dakota - Guy sounded like he was from Mississippi.  Told him to remove the number and he argued with me! He said I already had a google listing.  No, I don't.  "So you want your number removed? DUH!!  Told him 5 times to remove the number already!  Hung up on him.  Idiot.

I not only save the number to my "Ignore" contact but I assign them a silent ring tone. I don't even hear these clowns now :)
