this number has called my phone several times didnt answer and no message was left.
Tired of getting these unwanted calls. I have caller ID and don't answer if I don't recognize the number. Very annoying!
Got a call from this number last week. I answered, and pressed 1 to speak to someone. They told me they could lower my credit card interest rates. I asked if he worked for one of my credit card companies and he would not answer me (which obviously means no). I told him I was listed on the Do Not Call registry and he should not be calling me. He was incredibly persistent and insisted that I answer his questions to see whether I was eligible for his service. I finally told him I was reporting him to the Federal Government, which I just did. Don't answer if this guy calls. Or if you do, immediately tell him you're reporting him and hang up. He hasn't called again.
This telephone number 701-217-1068 is a telemarketer. All the phones I own are forwarded to my cell phone and when I do not want to answer, I just them to my contact list and give them names like, Don't Ans, DDDDDDont Ans, No Ans and so on. It works for me. I just look who is calling then I hung up.
The FTC, not FCC, runs the Do Not Call list.
They call two or three times a day. Foreign accent obvious. They want to lower credit card interest.
Nothing but people working a scam.
Don't ever take a call or reply, as this just tells them they have a live fish on the line.
If you want to do something, file a complaint.
Maybe it will be just one of thousands that will never be looked at by the FTC or FCC...but at least they will have it on record.
Sooner or later the feds are going to get tired of all the calls from us and start cracking down or limiting this garbage on our phones.
We can put a man on the moon, and get rid of Bin Ladin, but we can't stop this junk coming to our phones. Gimme a break !!!!!!!
Even in good economic times these calls can be annoying, and in the times when so many Americans don't have jobs this looks like mockery... If it's a scam it's especially sickening and FBI and/or FCC should investigate it....
Do us all a favor. Get an answering machine to screen your calls. Voice mail works to some extent too, but with an anwering machine, I can listen and decide if I wish to pick up the call.
Why? Because when their computer gets an answer, it has to spend time tying up one of their outgoing lines to leave a long message. The more time you tie up, the fewer people they can call
If they get a busy or no answer, then the computer immediately goes to the next number and your number goes into the redial list to try again later.
Sometimes, an answer by an answering machine can reduce the number of calls you get from one scumbag caller and it ties up the phone lines long enough to prevent them from calling someone else!
If everyone had an answering machine, we could cut their calls in half with the existing number of outgoing lines they have!
I received a call on my cell from 701-217-1068. I don't know whose number it is and caller left no message.
This company calls me on a weekly basis to tell me that I have good payment history and they can lower my interest rates. Unfortunately for them, they have no control over my rates. I've politely asked them not to call me again several times and told them that I am on the do not call registry. I've called back when they've left messages and pressed 1 to get off of their calling list. This company is a complete scam and is not following the FCC regulations.
There just has to be a way to STOP these calls !!! OMG I hope they all rot in he!! And what is even more upsetting is the elderly that are being scammed out of their life savings from these crooks.
The called me but the caller ID says unknown caller so I did not answer.
In St. Paul
Just got a call from them. Didn't leave a message. Don't know anyone from ND.
Lower my interest rate BS. Recorded message.
Annoyed in VT
Calling and hanging up ... I would like to get these people's home numbers and do the same to them!
this tele. no. just called, when my answer machine picked up, they hung up. This is the first time I have been called from this "Credit Services, located in Kenmare, ND.
I am on the no-call registery list, do they not pay attention to this? I am taking notes, because you can notify your attorney general's office about these calls.

Just got a recorded call saying how I need to call immediately to reduce my credit card cost. Like Pasor Tom wrote, be careful what you sign up for and the information you provide.
got the same call on my cell phone but did not answer it when I did not know the number
Calls & hangs up on business line.
Its a robo caller to determine active phone lines. If you press ANY key or answer the phone, it will register your line as active, and actually increase the number of calls you receive.
I was just called 10 minutes ago.... telling me that they were card services and I know I don't have any credit cards. So I pressed 1 to speak to someone and then they hung up after I asked with My Ghetto A** Voice Stating Who are you with?
These b*****ds called and hung up on me.
Continual. I just filed a complaint. We all must. Google 'do no call' to get the gov,t site. We got to stop this. My concern is in ND it my be a sovereign Indian reservation which our US laws may not attach. I am going to put a call block on this #.
Cell phone called. Lower your interest rates on your credit card
It's a recording (caller ID says Kenmare ND). The person in the recording is called Heather and she says she is from "my" credit card company, but she is not. If you listen to the entire message, they want to get you on the line. They say they're going to save you money on your credit card bill. I've received called from this ver same outfit numerous times over the past couple of years, however, I think this is a new and different phone number, but it's the identical recording with "Heather". Last year, I talked to them just to see what they would ask for, and guess what, they ask for your full name, address, date of birth, and your current credit card number. I think they asked for my social security number as well. They scatter all these questions out during the conversation so you won't realize they're collecting data to rip you off. I gave them all fake info just to tie up their phone line and waste their time as they were wasting mine. There should be some way to catch these a***oles.
It is hard not to pick up the phone - sometimes they are actually real phone calls.
This call was the "call about lowering your interest rate" on your credit cards. Of course they keep promising this is your last warning but darn they call again and again and again.
Came home to find this number on my Caller ID. No message, so the hell with them!
