Having read all your comments, I can empathize.  I received a call around noon two consecutive days.  First call the male speaker asked for a name, I said this is not that person.  He hung up.  Yesterday, he called again, asked for the person's full name, I said that person is not here.  He asked if I was his wife, I said yes, I asked who was calling, his response was, "I am calling from refunds and returns commission" He then went on to try and verify the correct name of the person, my response was, "what's this all about?"  He immediately hung up.  Like others I called back, number is disconnected, Called Bell operator, she could not help, advised that they use other numbers and bounce their calls so they cannot be traced,  suggested I notify the police.  I did.  Police asked to keep documenting calls and NEVER give your phone number to stores that asked for your number when you shop at their stores.  I will keep you informed of any progress.

Called did not leave message. I have been submitting a lot of resumes and foolishly left my Google Voice number on the header of my Word file. I believe this was culled from these phony company / harvesters on CareerBuilder Monster. Now the job site I used last was Indeed being the latest (Though Indeed strips that part out). I also responded to some terse questionable craigslist.org job postings. Sigh.

Received a couple of calls from this number last week & this morning.  No message left.  When calling the number back, it says it is disconnected.......cannot answer my cell phone at work, so I miss the call.  Cannot call the number back.  Just want to know who & why they are calling.

Does anyone fall for this crap?  Some people must or they wouldn't bother.  What I always do with calls like these is answer and put the phone down.  I figure this wastes more of their time than just not answering, and maybe it will be an incentive to take me off their list.

I just received a call from this number and, after reading the messages above, called the number back - using a Skype account so they will not have a record of my call.  Same result as those who responded to calls in 2011 - number has been disconnected.

We (Ontario, do not call list) also receive calls from this number. They do not leave msg.

I have had three calls on 2 days with them offering Travel Packages.

number has called me 4 times on a work cell phone eveerytime i answer with company name they hang up. When i called it back my cell disconnected the call. very werid

Got a call from this number for the upteenth time. They said they were with a Work at home buisness. When asked about how they got my name and number, they told me its easy to get house and buisness numbers. They get them from the phone books. My number is a cell phone and it's not in any phone book. They wanted me to give them $500 so I can start a home buisness, but it would take up to about two months befor I see any money. When I asked them to take my name off there list and that they can get charged for calling me because I'm on the National Do Not Call List, I was told they don't have to listen to that, they can call who ever they want. When I said they're a scam, I was called a bi*** and was hung up on.
If they call me again, instead of saying hello, I'm going to say "Police station, how may I help you". That should make them stop.

I got a call from 701-223-8426 claiming to be from a roofing company and they would be in my area and wanted to set up a time to check out my roof.I said I did not know how they got my number and to take my number off their list.The female said she was just trying to help me and I hung up the phone.When I look at the other complaints here before me their complaints are of a different nature.I say everyone watch out, this phone number is comming from someone who is up to who knows what?

Please STOP calling my cell phone. This is my first and final warning. I will report this number to the BBB or Attorney Generals Offc if I receive another call from this number.

Called and left no message.  Now they go on the blocked callers list.

I AM CONSTANTLY GETTING CALLS FROM ABOVE NUMBER 701-223-8426.  THEY HANG UP AND LEAVE NO MESSAGE.  WHE I CALL BACK IT SAYS ON AUTO-RECORDING THAT THIS NUMBER HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED.  I'M TIRED OF IT

Rec'd an unwanted call from this moving co. Phone no. not in service.

I must get 3 - 4 calls per day and it is extremely irritating. They ask if we are moving in the next year
or two and I have asked repeatedly to be taken off their call list.  I actually just hung up on someone
and they keep calling back - though I will not pick up the phone again.

Hmmm, I am betting that these people are finding numbers by searching public databases for new (or changed) businesses.

We had recently decided to register a new business name and LLC about 3 months ago.  When I was filling out the form, I listed the address of my new LLC to an existing building location I have occupied for over ten years but never used for any correspondence.  I also listed a very under-used telephone number which I also had for over ten years as the new entities primary phone number.

Sure enough, that under-used line has lit-up with calls and offers for everything from employee health benefits to this latest temptation - office relocation.  It is absolutely amazing.  We have not published nor even started using the number (or address) in any form and have not advertised it anyway ourselves yet.  

Many of these pests do use our new LLC name and the only place I know it has been listed is at the SBA office in Baltimore.

Hurray!,  now we can look forward to double the amount of annoying calls we will be receiving!!!!!

We got a call for this same number..saying that they want to move our company. creepy voice. I said they have the wrong number.

We just received the same phone call stating that they were looking for the person in-charge of moving for our company. I said, "excuse me?" and they hung up on me. I then tried to call back their number and the number was non-existent. I then went to: http://www.donotcall.gov  and filed a complaint against their phone number...

Called and left message on our general business line.  Could hear someone mumble something about "corporate relocation" and then just a lot of phone/boiler room women chatting in the background.  It's clearly a call center of some sort...

Caller asked when we were moving to our new location.

I received a call from this number and when I answered I could hear them but they can't hear me.  When I call the number back, I got a message that 223-8426 is no longer is server, note the area code was missing.

Said they heard we were moving.  Just fishing. ???  just do not answer
