Where do you get your information on "Federal Law"? If you knew anything about the law you would know that robo telemarketing is totally illegal!!!!!!! There is no Federal Law like you think. Now, try to get the government to enforce the laws!

This number called me twice and I can't stand these types of calls. My best advice is to blacklist them via your phone. If you have to, call you service provider with the number ready and have them block the number for you.

The telephone spammers are back to work in 2013. I managed to open this website and check the Cell phone call. I have received these phone calls often in the last month, but I only answer calls that i recognize on the cell phone.Pain in the neck while driving, but I will not use the cell phone unless stopped.
Today i was on-line so easy to check before answering, This number has called me 22 times and is now on the blocked list. Maybe my cell phone needs a button to push, that would seem similar to the phone companies disconnected message with no forwarding number available.

I want to know who call from this number and why?
Lee Larson 2012-12-31 18:39:12 Unknown
I won't answer any name or number I see on my Caller ID that I don't recognize. I check the reverse look-up and then find out who's trying to reach me. This outfit called twice within two minutes. *Somebody must be trying to make quota.

I called back and listened to the message. Press 1 to get taken advantage of or press 5 to be removed from calling list.

Why do you always troll this board looking for someone to slander? Every time I see one of your posts, you are criticizing someone for virtually no reason other than to start something. You really need to find another way to deal with the baggage you are carrying.
dee 2012-12-25 15:59:44 Unknown
Xx, I wouldn't expect you to comprehend.....Your reputation on this board for your one line remarks preceedes you.
kc 2012-12-25 15:46:06 Unknown
Herman, 90+% of America is on the DNC. Probably only 2% actually report violations to the DNC and FTC.
If anything gets done, it will only happen if people start reporting violations instead of just complaining on a discussion Board. Please become a part of the solution and report to the DNC and FTC.
Xx 2012-12-25 15:15:04 Unknown
Next time you post please make it understandable (you're double talking)
don 2012-12-25 15:14:36 Unknown
Me too! plus one additional bonus call from our friends in the Dominican Republic....Maybe they are trying to capture that Christmas Spirit (and/or any other observed holiday today).
dee 2012-12-25 15:12:28 Unknown
FYI, Please remember that getting on the DNC registry list doesn't provide any immunity against those who are exempt or the lawbreakers. They will call anyway. It doesn't block calls. It is simply a list to keep those businesses who are honest.......honest.
dee 2012-12-25 15:05:49 Unknown
about the only option at this time is to purchase a Call Blocker.
dee 2012-12-25 15:04:08 Unknown
You are right anonymous. Most only notice those law breakers who call them, and rarely notice all the businesses in America who do NOT call them.
JB 2012-12-25 14:38:15 Unknown
I got a call from this number on Christmas morning!!!
anonymous 2012-12-20 18:44:27 Unknown
Clearly you do not understand how the DoNotCall Registry works. The Registry works on voluntary compliance like speed limit signs on highways. Honest telemarketers honor the Registry, abusive telemarketers and scammers do not. Socialist Europe has opt-in marketing where telemarketers are forbidden from calling you unless you give them express permission beforehand. Capitalist USA has opt-out marketing where telemarketers can call by default and it's up to you to get them to stop calling if you can. Big business and the Republicans fought against the creation of the Registry and we are lucky to have what we have today.

Registering may not help. The DoNotCall Registry works on voluntary compliance like speed limit signs on highways. Honest telemarketers honor the Registry, abusive telemarketers and scammers do not.

scam
John Nawrocki 2012-12-19 20:26:45 Unknown
Probably the reason the "Do Not Call" list is ineffective is that the number originates from a robot dialer. It continuous calls numbers at random or maybe in sequence. The company might have a several dialers with different numbers.
The object of the call might be to locate modems or fax machines on the line. If a modem or fax tone is not detected, the call terminates.
Call your service provider. They can probably to tell you how to block the number.
jh 2012-12-19 18:09:20 Unknown
received first call today and after checking on it .. blocked! glad this sight is here!
